Transitioning from professional sport in to another career. Athletes have transferable skills which are suited to other industries and organisations and not just sport. A lot of athletes and industry leaders aren’t aware of this. I aim to spread the message by having conversations with former athletes that have made the transition, they will tell their story. I will also use my personal experience having made a seamless transition from professional sport. There’s no right or wrong way to make the transition; it’s important that you do what’s right for you, follow your own path. Good luck!
