I’m sad inside. The gut-wrenching conclusion to what should have been the most magical season for Suns fans of all time. The night we called it a day - An Aussie take on an American Classic... much like this season's pod has been for all of us.

An episode of commiserations and dissection of what an NBA Ref is defined as versus the garbage we got handed… all dished up in a super succinct 43 minute pod which still falls extremely far from even a parental guidance recommended rating.

SoSaysJ jumps on for a regular pod recapping the round, exploring the brink of inappropriate comments (you’d expect nothing less) and putting a whole lot of poo emoji on The Mavs and LucaBic… or at least that’s how I imagine the spelling would go non-phonetically.

Where the dogs at? That pretty much sums up the Game 4 disappointment for a traditional weekly pod with all four usual suspects. And if you need another reason to listen… Avocado is not racist.

The ‘Big 4’ are back together… and that’s where the civilities end. What was poised for a 45 minute cracker ended up being the first pod with a blooper reel, cut out and pasted at the end. Don’t let the little ones anywhere near this pod!

For the first time since its inception, the Podfather is a DNP, but our roster is deep and the show must go on. Nate takes the reins this pod and deliberately goes off Gav’s standard charter just to upset the apple cart. Trev comes back after rave reviews in the chat and offers his dignified perspective alongside an ever crass, but always reliable BallBagBoyd. Still not sure why we call him that.

A strange occurance, no Nate, No Boyd, but our replacements Trev and Ash were very much up to the challenge!!! Oh, and no "C" bombs!!!

Holy flaming shite balls… 2 weeks in a row kept to 1 hour episodes! Queensland hasn’t frozen over but Gav does have Covid and Hammo… well… he’s still Hammo. Our post Allstar ramblings are uploaded for your listening pleasure.

Nate goes away for 1 week and the production value goes balls up. Apologies to David Nash for leaving you in Gav’s hands and costing you boys 2 hours of your lives. This week the crew was short for various reasons, so Jono from the Aussie Suns Fans Group jumped on in Perth and worked through a strictly succinct episode that’ll have you back to your lives in 60 minutes.

Episode 16 sees the biggest guest we have ever seen in David from the Four Point Play!!!

All four of the foul mouthed brethren are back in full swing this week as Boyd takes the reins for a directional thumbing session and steadies the ship from what seemed like an inevitable spiralling fist fight.

What can we say… after a solid ‘Ansell’ worthy ‘ribbing’ last week, Boyd had a conveniently scheduled week off from the pod. But much love to our bretheren, he took it like a Champ. So a trio embarks on what was meant to be a quick and concise recording (for Nate’s post production sanity) and we still end up at an hour and 20 minutes… Nobody can ever say us podders don’t love our Suns.

The Podfather and Nate set out on this episode to totally stitch up “Boyd the Ball-Bag” in hope it would render our most enjoyable pod to date. And you know what… it did not fail! So much to the point, if we have ever recommended an episode to tune in to the YouTube video version… this is it. This ‘cracker’ as Hammo would put it, is an absolute classic. The BallBag has his temper boiling, Herro love splashing back in his face, while choking on a Matrix loop of rebounds in a session of ‘Thumbs Up Thumbs Down’ where you’d swear a thumb went up the wrong… Hammo’s back! Boyd & Gav “Hit ‘em up” in a thumbs up/ thumbs down derailed debate for our final pod of 2021. The fellas all admit zero research and far too many celebratory ales over the last week (and-a-bit) have led to a classic close out for the year where Gav trades Devin Booker. Soul destroying shite.

A random shift of gears throws in a thumbs up / thumbs down segment which for all intent and purpose was thoroughly enjoyable… until the pesky ghost of ‘internet disruptions’ past shuttered the flow. Regardless, from most of us at the pod, Merry Christmas Aussie Suns Fans!
