ATO - After the Whistle

Heartbreak and then the opposite of heartbreak. You have to imagine this is the turning point that sets our ship on course. This is the story of how a big away win provides a return to normalcy.

Doesn't get much lower than this. Listen as the boys try to make sense of probably the worst performance in club history and address questions like: How did this happen? Who's responsible? and How much longer can this go on?

One word: Disappointment. Two words? Massive disappointment. The lads dig out the positive things from our unfortunate home loss to our provincial rivals and look forward to brighter days in the future.

First CanChamp win in club history! Time to go on a cup run. Plus a hard fought point away in a game that most of us will forget. A slow start to the season but a steady start and the ship is surely on the right track.

Signings galore have happened since our last episode, as well as some other mysterious faces at training camp in Madrid. Silly season is in full swing! WE'RE GOING TO THE FINAL. No possession? No problem. A Malcolm Shaw insurance golazo was enough to give us the draw, which in turn was MORE than enough to book our ticket to our first ever finals appearance in club history. The fairytale continues!

That's how you do a playoff road match. CarGo and the boys are in a perfect situation coming back home for the second leg after notching 2 goals and a clean sheet away at Starlight. WE'VE WON THE LEAGUE. Worst to first, and forever the first to do it. Victory tastes sweet. Dropping points at home to our provincial rivals while not giving a toss tastes almost just as sweet. Draws, draws, everywhere draws. However, in one of the more boring games you'll see the ginger prince popped up with one of the most amazing things you'll ever see. Listen to the boys break down the ups and downs of our 4th consecutive stalement.

Three draws on the spin. At least there was a goal this time, even if it was a pen! The boys analyze what our issues might be during the season run-in but there is still a positive to be taken: one point is better than none!

SURPRISE we weren't going to leave you hanging just because of a little scheduling issue. 3 wins on the bounce Valour visit TD place for the first time since redacted but the points were shared in a hard fought defensive masterclass that could have ended differently.

A top of the table clash ends with the spoils shared. No tears here though as the boys talk about how hanging with the best of them feels so right these days.
