With Bob Odenkirk's role as Saul Goodman coming to an end, we felt it was appropriate to take a look back at his (and David Cross') cult comedy origin, the HBO sketch series Mr. Show with Bob and David. Hopefully our first foray into sketch comedy turns up more hits than misses.

It's time for another quirky 90s comedy-drama with the Emmy-winning Northern Exposure. The pilot is about New York's most annoying man having to adjust to small-town Alaska, and the finale is not about much of anything but does have Jerry Adler parachuting in from the sky.

It's time for some edutainment with the long-running PBS favorite Arthur, a show about horrifying humanoid "animals" solving mundane problems. Gaze upon Matt Damon and despair.

It's time for another show forgotten to TV history, the police procedural Jake and the Fatman. It's about a guy named Jake and a fat man and they investigate crimes. Women are very disposable also. The dog is pretty good.

But most of this episode is just Columbo impressions.

We finally learn what that show they used to run ads for during the NBA playoffs is. It's Claws, the comedy-drama about South Florida nail salon workers getting involved in organized crime. Hank from Breaking Bad plays a bisexual southern gangster named Uncle Daddy. Other things also happen.

The twisted lapsed Catholic mind of Matt Ciani has made us watch the long-running religious anthology show Insight, which had many famous and cool contributors who we did not see or hear from. But we did get to look at a lot of paintings before seeing the story of a young couple embracing chastity.
