Blanderous Days 21.12.2022 3:49
Made this for uni back in 2016 as I worked on a surround sound trailer for Blade Runner. Never thought of disrespecting Vangelis' works of art by inserting my replicas for public consumption - or whatever. But since he always was my pulse, beam, pulsar and bastion for what mankind could achieve with technological magic, and was perhaps the first thing that pricked my ears together with the ELO, wh...

Demixgraphic Remixgraphiq - Home studio 2002 20.12.2022 4:36
Demographic N1 remix, apparently. First one and first time on a DAW I guess. The world of plugins was also literally just getting started up -it shows lol- and I was close to it all for quite a few years. Unlike plenty of trendsters & posers out there who like their pic taken next to a bunch of startrek plastic hexagons, I actually do love all about the sonics & sounds of simmons drums - too much,...

It's All C.o.d.e. | Encode - home studio 2009 20.12.2022 4:39
Though this track is a demo version, later reworked & remixed together with Jerry Parsons, and later licensed to Peter Gabriel's CueSongs, I like this demo version as is. This was also -always- Gage's favorite version of this track, she used to include this v version on her itunes playlist, a first ever, even once our reworked / finished version was done. Tells me something.

Aurora - Home studio, 2003 08.09.2022 3:08
Original picture by Itxaso Díaz. Keyboards + drum programming by Evan Bass by Gage (Exquisitely Awesome, Awesomely Exquisite) Main vocals + backing vocals + lyrics by Elaina G. If Cubase / Logic didn't crash, I was already happy enough with the mix. Not sure who Elaina was referring to with the 'get the f out of my life' lyric, can't remember. But I do remember that, having done a law degree and l...

Worldwide - Home studio, 2003 07.09.2022 3:45
Original picture by Itxaso Díaz. This song previously was Demographic Number One, which we re-arranged like this cause we liked it as a home studio collaboration, with Elaina singing like this. Another early DAW recording. Happy if it just didn't crash. Keyboards + drum programming by Evan Bass by Gage (Exquisitely Awesome) Main vocals + backing vocals + lyrics by Elaina G. Claps by all of the abo...

Follow Your Bliss - Sparking Toys home demo 2007 10.04.2022 5:45
Though this track is a demo version, later mixed by Jerry Parsons, as part of a collaborative project now apparently licensed to BBC Radio England and BBC Continental Europe -cause I wouldn't know it from the royalties-, I like this demo version, as is. For starters, I was never again able to get sine waves to feedback just like this, using a Roland Space Echo. The rest of the song but for the pia...
Sparking Toys - Heartbeat City - coversion 2007 10.04.2022 4:23
I've always loved this track, like most things Ric Ocasek AND Greg Hawkes ever did, together, so gave it a go as a studio project only. Ocasek himself approved of it a while after. Absolute legend. Ric Ocasek was such a good producer and such a geezer, Weezer always asked for him. The Strokes seemed to agree too, from day one. Lol. ..I do do like The Strokes, and most of Julian's solo stuff is als...

Sparking Toys - E.O.F. / Mesopotamia, 2007 10.04.2022 4:32
2007, home studio, electronic version of EOF, a song Gage had originally composed on -self taught- acoustic guitar. Featuring THAT Euphonix sample. I also always wanted a song that featured the old Cubase metronome sound. This is the one. I always felt the utmost reverence and absolute awe and respect for the Islamic scales, specially as used for the Islamic call for prayer, which also used to sen...
