Massive corporate cutbacks are nothing new. Being part of the broadcast industry for 46 years we've walked through many many tight situations based not on delivering quality but quantity with the fewest number of players. While with the big motha of them all broadcast companies I found peace in my heart when I realized I don't front a physical department. I am a team of won. And we did win!

I work with someone who is looked upon as being one of the top players on the team. He's not only praised by earned Employee of the Month. Yet he's never had a great review from our guests and the people we serve. What's up with that?

There's always something to learn. We are students not masters. There's a lot to pick up from the paths of those who've transitioned. Humans seem to always be in a race to become something they aren't. When it doesn't materialize, we shrug it off, "I don't care." When did it become ok to shrug off a God wink or calling?
