Have you ever realized that those childhood dreams of being a prince or princess weren't just fantasies, but echoes of a reality that God has placed at the heart of the universe?  His desire is that you and I would be adopted into His royal family, bear His Name, and serve in the kingdom of heaven for all time and eternity.  What a privilege to know that we can be part of His realm!

If you plan on traveling far, it's best to pack light-- to leave behind anything unnecessary, in order to get farther in the long run.  There's a burden you were never intended to carry; one that changes you from a warrior to a worrier.  Let's learn what it is, and how to let it go.

What was it that changed the disciples from frightened and scattered to bold and united, ready to change the world?  The answer is plain-- it was resurrection power.  But here's the amazing part-- it wasn't just that they were witnesses to that power; they were recipients, through the infilling of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost!

Everything-- including life-- works better when you follow the instructions of the designer.  In this inspiring message, Dr. Jackson reminds us that we have an opportunity not only to consult life's great Designer, but to call on Him as the ultimate Restorer when things go wrong.

The last words of Christ on the cross constitute God's last word on our sin:  the debt has been fully paid, the account has been settled, and all who stand in covenant with Jesus need not fear receiving any more notices of outstanding collections.  'Tetelestai!'  The triumphant cry of our victorious Savior says all that needs to be said.  It. Is. Finished.  

The pool of Bethesda was a phenomenal place-- with one problem. Jesus overcame that problem with miraculous power, and He is still providing that power today, through His people who are willing to be rivers of revival.

Did you know that God builds greatness through weakness?  We take a look today at the life of a hero of faith who was a world-champion worrier.  When there was a blank to fill in, Jacob was there, believing the worst.  But in the end, he trusted the Best, and that made all the difference.

Sheep are needy-- they can't receive protection, provision, and direction without the leading of a shepherd.  Who do you trust to lead you in life?  Dr. Jackson makes the case for Christ as the One who can be trusted,  because He came, gave, and lives forever to be the Great Shepherd of our souls.

Have you ever seen a child imitating his or her father?  Pastor Doug Ellingsworth reminds us today that the Christian life is more than a practice of rule-following; it is a journey of Father-imitating.  We are to be like Him in our love, our care, and our speech.  Listen and be inspired to be like our Lord!

Do you live within a mindset of scarcity, or one of abundance?  Tell me who your source is, and I can probably answer that question.  Trusting God as our Provider liberates us to give liberally of time, talent, and treasure, no matter the circumstance.  When we divide, He multiplies!

Some people don't hide from storms-- it's their job to go out into them, restoring power to those in peril.  If you have the power of God in your life today, that's the role the prophet Isaiah said you should play in the lives of those around you.  Yes, friend, we are called to be 'repairers of the breach.'  Let's get everyone in our path connected to God's power!
