A innocent girls trip turns sour over a small but big misunderstanding. But as I get older, I have come to realize that those small misunderstandings turn into big issues in the future, and maybe I should do myself a favor and cut my losses, at the first sign of trouble. But what am I actually accomplishing by doing this?

You are under no obligation to anyone but you. You must protect your energy at all cost. It can be hard to walk away from someone who is experiencing hardships but it is necessary if they are abusing you, or taking you for granted because they can't see the forest for the trees.

Alot of times we want to hold on to the belief that things get better with time, when we have made no effort in the present time to make adjustments for the future, this is harmful thinking. Taking action and accountability now is key.

A day at the beach with a friend took a wrong turn and intentions are misunderstood. I have made the mistake of allowing misunderstandings to be smoothed over to keep certain people in my life, I have fully learned from my mistakes.
