By acknowledging that people approach problems, strategies and decisions through our own unique lens, we also need to ensure that we create a culture that builds an understanding of these perspectives to work together.     

As a leader, your influence can lead to positive or negative outcomes. Is there a difference between influence and manipulation when it comes to getting results? It can be a bit more nuanced than saying manipulation is "bad" or "good". Are we trying to make a change because it serves "me" or because it serves "we"?
