This summer, we're going to be studying the Gospel of Matthew, specifically regarding relationships. We believe that God is the Great Physician and can heal all our relationships, but first, we must have a right perspective of God — that He is a Father who is present and active, who speaks identity and affection over us, affirming His love for us.

Even when we lose our faith, God remains faithful to be who He has promised to be. In Matthew 14, when Jesus walked to his disciples' boat on water, Peter asked to join Jesus on the waves. When Peter took his eyes from Jesus, his faith wavered, and he began to sink. Even though Peter's faith failed, Jesus' faithfulness did not. Jesus reached out to save Peter and did not let him drown. In John 5:2-14, Jesus healed a man who had been crippled for 38 years. It wasn't too late for him, and as long as we're alive, it's never too late for us — to surrender to Jesus and be transformed by His grace, salvation and freedom.
