All trees grow root systems that absorb life-giving water and nutrients.  In the Tree of Life model, the disciplines serve as our spiritual roots. This week we examine the spiritual discipline of prayer, and the vital role that it plays in the life of every believer.

This week we look at the monumental role that water plays in the lives of trees. Interestingly, both the Old and New Testaments refer to the Messiah as water offered to thirsty souls. We specifically look at Jesus’ encounter with the woman at the well when He first declared Himself to be the Messiah and also referred to Himself as the Living Water.

This week we take another look at tree seeds, specifically focusing on the wonder of germination. The metamorphosis from a seemingly dead seed into a living and growing tree is astounding and correlates perfectly with the spiritual transformation that salvation brings.

This week we examine tree seeds and how they relate to the Bible. We learn about the basic elements of seeds, along with what makes a seed viable to germinate and grow. This correlates to the Bible and the Gospel - much like a seed, it has great potential for life. As believers, it is important for each of us to intimately know and understand the scriptures to experience life and growth in Christ.

This week we look at God’s response to Adam and Eve’s sin, from Genesis 3:20-24. In this passage, the Lord graciously made clothing to cover up the pair’s nakedness. God also removed their access to the Tree of Life, lest they should eat of it and live forever in a state of sin and brokenness. This week, Buddy Teaches out of Genesis 2 about the Garden of Eden, mankind, and their role to steward trees. We also covered The Fall in Genesis 3, with all its disastrous effects. 

Buddy Holton introduces the Tree of Life Discipleship process, and shares a little about the journey that has brought Anthem Hayden to this point. He shares the overarching vision of our elder and pastors is to make disciples who in turn make other disciples, pointing out that this is the clear scriptural expectation of all believers.
