As we continue in the book of Genesis we see a contrast between two people, Jacob and Laben. Jacob is learning to look outward to other peoples needs and Laben is becoming more and more self interested.

Jacob's journey to find a wife in the land of his ancestors becomes a complete and utter mess. Many of the people in this mess are looking to things to deliver them from their situation other than looking to God and we all find ourself in this story in one way or another.

God has a vision for your life because he loves you and wants the best for you. How will you respond to that vision?

Issac's family disfunction continues through the work of Jacob and Rebecca as Genesis plays out. God's plan will always work out, will we trust Him or take matters into our own hands?

God is still present in the midst of trials.

Jacob and Esau come on to the scene and the human condition to sin still continues. But again we are given insight into what God is doing behind the scenes.

Faith that believes is a faith that moves. Abraham and his servant arrange to provide Isaac with a wife, and God leads the servant's steps.

We are all going to die someday. What will you do with your life today?

Use what God has given you with boldness becasue God is good and He will not let your faithfullness go to waste.

Can God be trusted?

We come to the climax of Ruth's story, her plan is imperfect but God uses her imperfect plan for good.

Ruth walks out in faith by putting herself in a vulnerable place. God, in his sovereignty, blesses her heart and she meets Boaz.

Sometimes, there is a disconnect between belief and action. Today, Paul addresses this issue and gives us a solution.

Following Jesus will sometimes be hard, but it will always be worth it.

To live and love people well in our day, we need to be reminded of where Jesus saved us from. That will fill us up to love those who are broken and lost.

We are called by the gospel to be zealous for good works, what is hindering you from doing the good work Jesus has put in front of you?

Sound doctrine of Christ Jesus should invade every area of our lives. Here in Titus, Paul gives us our roles as people of God.

False gospels must be silenced. Paul addresses those who claim to know God but deny Him by their actions

Our God is a God of order for the purpose of freedom and fun. God wants you to be happy but there is a certain way to be happy.

Introduction to the book of Titus. Where do you put your trust?

Jesus wants you, yes YOU, to be involved in bringing the good news of Jesus to every nation (missions). We as Anthem Church want you to see that and help you get in the game!

God tests Abraham with his son Isaac and we see that we are never graduated from our walk in faith with God.

God keeps his promises, even after 24 years. He also sees and hears your pain and does something about it when you cry out to Him.

God promises good things for us but we need to remember those promises because we are so prone forget. In the text today we witness people determining good things for themselves and not listening to the promises of God.

Abram and Sarai are waiting for God and they are tired of waiting. They take matters into thier own hands and screw stuff up. God still uses this for his glory.
