There are a lot of classic games like Cribbage that run well with 2 players, plenty of good new ones too.

We teach the concept of the Intrigue game, very much an entry level party type concept. The intrigue can be played with anyone, but can also ramp up to heavier intrigue games like Dark Moon and Wrath of Dracula. Thank God I don't watch basketball.
