A few environmental stories are in the news: Exxon, Chevron, Sira Lanka, and Shell.  Times are changing, pro-environment is starting to win a few critical battles.

My take on the news and the ethics/morals involved.

Did you know that you furnished the weapons and bombs that are killing Palestinian children?   Our value is "might makes right".  

What's important in the news today?  Pick a side, decide what you think about what is happening.  What is important and how do we fix it?  Which of your values do you base your opinion on? Listen to my values, how do they differ from your values?

Does anyone in this country have any values when it comes to the Palestinians? I don't see either party, or the Independents, taking a stand on this ... do we have any values that apply?

Perhaps I have just discovered the obvious but bear with me.  The physical challenge in dieting is really pretty small.  Humanity has been doing it, as in fasting, for hundreds of thousands of years.  We were made for it.   However, the emotional challenge of dieting is huge in a world where we no longer expect to endure discomfort.  

Our inability to get our people to take the vaccine and the rest of the world to get the vaccine means we will be struggling with mutants of the virus for decades. Those stories, or even story fragments, come packaged in emotions.  If you have upsetting emotions, learn to manage the stories that they come packaged in for a more peaceful life.

Bio-engineering.  Imagine spare parts for humans, like hearts and kidneys, inside of a monkey.   The work is underwear.  The little picture that goes with this podcast is a monkey-human embryo.  It's coming to a store near you.  Can you wrap your head around it?  Are you clear on the moral implications?
