Discussion of Chapter 2, When Things Fall Apart by the book of the same name. 

We are discussing a book, "When Things Fall Apart" by Pema Chodron.   Intimacy with Fear is the first chapter.   Fear is a natural reaction to moving closer to the truth. Do you want to experience the pain of growing?

What if?  What if your life was shortened by the virus?  As you hear the news "your test is positive," what are your thoughts?   Did you spend your last few months in a way that you are satisfied, or did you waste your time?   Do your kids and love ones feel and know you better because of how you spent your time?  Is there something major that you left undone? What is the problem we can't solve?  We have those that are most harmed by the pandemic mixed up with those that are on average not harmed by the pandemic.  It is a mathematical optimization problem that is really quite simple.
