We have all had to deal with disappointment. However, we don’t generally think about what the cost is for dealing with the disappointment that we cause other people. But Jesus left people disappointed, and He has a few things to share with us on this very sensitive topic.

If Christians believe that all humanity bear the image of God as their birthright, and are therefore of infinite and eternal value, why is there such a wide set of responses to, and engagement with the lives of the poor, the weak and the needy? We are going to seek for biblical fidelity as we wrestle through to find blind spots that God would call us to identify and surrender to Him.

In a country where 30% of the wealth is owned by 4 families, how are we to think biblically about what is fair in labor and in pay? Scripture deals with these issues openly and there is a lot that we need to think through if we are to be good and faithful stewards. 

Jesus answers the question, “Who is my neighbor?” For us, and His answer takes a surprising turn. In today’s episode we look at the way in which Jesus drives to a deeper concern, and turns the answer around and drops it into our lap for action.
