Forgotten by God 23.11.2025
Bad things happen. We try to make sense of it. We try to keep ourselves encouraged. We try to ignore the pain of it. We try to spin it into something that doesn't hurt so bad. But, sometimes it just feels like God has forgotten us. Do we need to dull the pain, or is it better to lean into it and get through it? Psalm 74 You're not the only person to ever feel forgotten by God.
If God only knew... 16.11.2025
We all have things that we try to hide. We are all familiar with embarassment. We think we need to keep them secret because if people knew about them, they wouldn't want us anymore. Well, nothingis hidden from God. He knows all your secrets, and He still loves you. Psalm 139 God know everything about you and He still wants you.
It's Done. 09.11.2025
When we face surprises, doubts and fears it can easily throw us into a panic. But when you call someone trying to figure out how to fix all that's gone wrong and they say, "hey, oh we already took care of that, it's all done," there is an incredible amount of relief that can wash over you. What God shows us in Psalm 22 is that God is way ahead of us, and He has already done what needs to be done....
Walking with the Word of God 02.11.2025
It is so easy to get lost in the trials and the complications of life. We end up down paths we don't want to go and make bad decisions, but all the time don't really know what else we are supposed to do. That's not what God wants for us though. God wants to show us the path forward, and I believe He has. Psalm 119 To stay on the path of life you need the Word of God.
Take Your World Back 26.10.2025
We all have dreams for our lives and for our world, but it seems like the bad guys are always winning. How do we take it back? How do we change the world? How do we make a difference? God knows how and He actually gives us some pretty clear instructions on what we should be doing to take it back. You can't do it without Jesus. 2 Chronicles 7:14
Taking Back Your Family 19.10.2025
Family is so important to many of us. We want good things for our family and we want our family members to be good people. Yet, it seems like we are always on the edge of our families falling apart. So we hold on tighter, and it still doesn't change. If you want to take your family back from teh brink, Christ needs to be in charge of you and your family. Matthew 10:37-39 & Joshua 24:14-28 If Chris...
Take Your Life Back 12.10.2025
When was the last time you felt like you had freedom in your life? I'm guessing you spend a lot of time feeling like someone else is manipulating or controlling your life. You just react to whatever someone else is doing, or have to chase whatever desire or craving you have. You feel trapped and like someone else is just dragging you around. And the crazy part is that the more you try to take your...
Death isn't Your Life 05.10.2025
Whether you are already a Christian, are looking for answers or really don't think this Jesus stuff is for you, it is hard to argue with the changed lives of those who get baptized. It shows us, or reminds us, just how good God is and how much He wants to do in and through us. Ephesians 2:1-10 Death doesn't need to be your way of Life.
How to Succeed 21.09.2025
Just work harder! Push through the pain. Don't give up. Keep trying. We hear those things and we say those things and we still fail at the most important things. When you're broken, it's not about trying harder, it's about getting healed. Romans 6:15-18 Romans 7:6-7, 13 Romans 8:3, 26-39 Submission, not struggle, is the path to success.
Loving Sinners 14.09.2025
As much as sin ruins our lives and leads us deeper and deeper into destruction, God doesn't require us to change before He loves us. He takes the first step. He loves you, and those around you, even though we are sinners. Yet, we have a hard time loving others, especially those who sin against us. The only way we can love sinners like God loves sinners is to have His heart in us! Romans 5:8 God lo...
Sin's Spiral 07.09.2025
When we feel like we have gone down a path so far that it startles us, we sometimes turn around and think, "how did I even get here?" It's hard to nail down where we even started down those paths and it seemed so natural to continue following it. That's what sin does. When we read the letter Paul wrote to the church in Rome we see that he lays out the path sin takes us on, and he pinpoints what st...
Science & Faith? 17.08.2025
Do you need to check your brain at the door when you start to consider faith in God? I don't think so. Actually, the more you use your brain the more God makes sense! Romans 1:20 When you let science speak, it tells us there is a God.

The Gender Question 27.07.2025
Sexuality and gender are two of the most debated, emotionally charged, and politically manipulated topics of this present age. There is confusion, frustration, fear, hurt, and desperation involved in all of these conversations. What does God say about these things, and what are we as followers of Jesus supposed to do with that? Galatians 2:16, Isaiah 56:3-5 Jesus, not moral reform, is the solution...
The Bible & Slavery 20.07.2025
When you do a google search for references to slavery in the Bible you will find a bunch of passages about it, and a lot of them talk about it as allowed. What are we supposed to do with that? How are we supposed to make sense of that? Does that mean God was for the European slave trade? Does that mean God thinks racism is okay? If not, where does it say that? It's a hard subject to tackle, but I...
Do We Follow the Old Testament? 13.07.2025
As people who follow Jesus, what are we supposed to do with the Old Testament, especially the Old Testament Law? Sometimes we talk about it as if we still need to follow it, and other times we completely ignore the rules it outlines. How do we know what to follow and what not to? Do we need to follow any of the rules? This is a topic that was debated even when the church was first coming together...
