The first full week of school is behind us, and what a fantastic week it was! We celebrate 22 scholars who were honored with National College Board recognition, and we discuss the WIG and the final football scrimmage.

We recap a great first couple of days of school, along with the new state law prohibiting electronic devices on campus. We also talk about the Lady Indians' second-place finish at the Castleberry Tournament over the weekend!

The school year is right around the corner!

The new school year is right around the corner! We welcomed new teachers this week and had the beam signing for AHS' new gym!

We had a lot to celebrate at the end of the year with all of the senior activities during the last week of the school year and our End of Year awards for our educators!

The last week of school is here! We spent last week celebrating scholars and all they accomplished with the state recognition board meeting, athletics awards, and a night honoring those who earned military awards and local scholarships!

The year is winding down but learning is still taking place! We celebrate our resident teachers who were recognized at Tarleton State and we discuss the heartbreaking end of the baseball season.

The busiest time of the year is here! As the school year winds down, there are plenty of opportunities to see our scholars shine through concerts, athletics, awards, and much more!

We had a lot to celebrate last week, from FFA teams competing at the state level to tennis bringing home multiple district championships!

Just a few more weeks of school left, but our scholars and educators are still going strong. There is a lot to celebrate and even more to look forward to in the coming weeks!

STAAR testing has started, and we inducted our first Hall of Excellence class since Covid! It was a busy but fun and successful week for our scholars!

It was an excellent week for Fine Arts. Band and choir participated in the UIL Concert and Sight-Reading, while the One Act Play advanced to Area for the first time in over 10 years!

A lot to celebrate, from FCCLA state qualifiers to inexperienced scholars finding success in FFA! There is a lot to celebrate as we head down the home stretch of the 2024-2025 school year!

Celebrating everything from CX Debate to theater to JROTC drones to athletics. It was a busy week for our scholars and they succeeded at every level!

Although it was Spring Break, there was a lot to celebrate as our scholars competed at the state level in colorguard and national level in JROTC!

There is a ton to celebrate this week with our WIG, JROTC, in FFA, and athletics!

We had our third Indian Friend Reading Day and we discuss the upcoming cold weather!

Our JROTC and FFA scholars continue to shine at their competitions while baseball and softball kick off their seasons with scrimmages.

The accolades continue to roll in for the football team and we have all-state band scholars for the 16th straight year! The AHS musical Frozen Jr. begins Thursday!

We have had a great couple of weeks of holiday concerts, and our fine arts scholars continue to amaze us as the junior high band had over 20 scholars earn all-region recognition. JROTC's archery team had its first competition, and there were plenty of other things to celebrate as we close the first semester!

So much to be excited about from celebrating a record-breaking football season to JROTC contest results and 29 scholars earning all-region band honors! What a week to be an Indian!
