Humanity receives a fresh start after the flood, yet the story quickly reveals that while the world was washed clean, the human heart remained unchanged. Redemption is not something we achieve through flawless obedience, but something we receive by faith and live from with grateful trust.

As the flood waters receded, God offers humanity a fresh start, renewing the mandates of Eden.

One thing we must remember, whether in judgment or in grace, His faithful love endures forever.

The normalcy of life can often make us less attentive to the things of God than we should be, just as it did in the days of Noah.

Trials and hardship are often perceived as punishment instead of discipline. Even when they come about as consequences of our own actions, God can and does use them to redeem us and transform us into His image. 

It's easy to see God's judgment as a reference for His anger, but Isaiah helps us to see it as a promise of faithfulness instead.
