It was great to welcome our guest speaker, Paul Woolley, the Chief Executive of LICC, the London Institute of Contemporary Christianity. Paul spoke from Mark 3:7-19 on whole life discipleship, and why following Jesus is a challenging call to bring God's kingdom to our world Monday through Sunday.

This week, Jonny explores what it means to ‘walk by the Spirit’ (Gal 5:16) as we surrender to Jesus’ way of life. God fills every follower of Jesus with the Holy Spirit, who is the ultimate source of our transformation. Yet we also have a role to daily ‘keep in step’ with his presence to see this shape our everyday lives.

This week our guest speaker, theologian Dr Lanver Mak, continued our series on 'walking with God' by looking at the 'narrow and broad way' from Matthew 7.

What is the good life? Sharing Jesus’ teaching on the Narrow Way, Lou encourages us that when we know our purpose, check our posture, and put Jesus teaching into practice, we can experience greater depth and freedom in our spiritual lives. 

To start our autumn series, ‘Walking with God’, we begin by looking at our identity and calling as followers of Jesus. Adnan teaches from Ephesians 1, exploring how our truest identity shapes where and how we begin our journey of faith.

He teaches from Romans 1:16-17, seeing how the scope of God’s mission is expansive for the whole world, yet exclusive through the person of Jesus Christ; that mission is utterly dependent on God’s presence; and that our call to join God’s mission is for the long term.
