God's provision always includes the Lord's supernatural ability and human involvement.

This week we are focusing on Matthew 20:1-16. Jesus provides an illustration to show us that His generosity transcends human ideas of fairness.

If we’re not careful, we will define faith only by our doing and not by our receiving. Passive Faith is not inactive Faith, it is Faith that actively receives.

This week we are focusing on Matthew 18:6-9. We often hear people say "I'm only responsible for myself." Jesus teaches his followers something different.

The disciples of Jesus were no different. They asked Jesus "Who's the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?" Jesus shockingly points to a child as the key to understanding true greatness in His Kingdom.

Character matters! In chapter 3 of Colossians, Paul dispels, the Gnostic teaching that the flesh is evil and therefore, the deeds of the body are not important. Paul instructs the believers to put on Christ, that is the “new man” who is renewed in knowledge. But they were not to stop there, they were also to “put off” the “old man” that is rooted in carnality and flesh.

In his letter to the Colossians, Paul also mentions the church at Laodicea most likely because they were being infiltrated by the same heresy, philosophies and lies. We know by the description used in Revelation 3 that Laodicea’s spiritual condition is described as lukewarm, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.
