Time to have some fun!  With the season approaching we think it's time we remember not only are we good at catching fish but we as fisherman are great at goofing off!  Fishing and tournament pranks are as old as when Adam told Eve she had a bite and he was pulling on her line.  Everything from bananas, big fish long arms and loosened kill switches to rotten bait hidden in some hard to find corner...

Have you every been told something like...Walleye don't bite after they spawn?  Or, Walleyes feed all night and aren't hungry during the day?  In this episode we go over some crazy myths or beliefs about many different species of fish and we give our two cents on some crazy fishing myths.  Plenty of laughs in this episode.  

It is almost time to hit the open water and now is the time to take a close look at your equipment.  When it's opening day you don't want to be sidelined with something you could of fixed while you waited for the snow to melt.  We give you a few ideas of what to look for and issues we have had with our equipment.  

Size is a part of the daily puzzle when it comes to being consistent.  The time of year, water temperature, visibility and many other factors come into consideration when you are deciding if today those fish want a 3' bait or a 5' bait.  On the ice or open water, the size of your bait and the profile can be the biggest factor to consistently catching fish.   

Do you LEADER?  It's a question that can win you a tournament and keep you from loosing big fish.  In this episode we cover the use of leaders through the ice and on open water.  The length of the leader can make all the difference and so can who makes the leader.  Don't miss the most important 3 feet in fishing...your LEADER.
