Wool you look at that. Here's a Guinness World Record that won't pull the wool over your eyes. Back in 2002 in Hay NSW it was the first National Sheep Counting Championships where one Peter Desailly sheepishly beat 100 other competitors to win the main title. Be-ewe-tiful...... World's loudest motorcycle audio system. 12.06.2025

Normally it's a bit tricky to listen to music while riding motorbikes. But one motorcycle enthusiast, Denis Podshivalov of Omsk in Russia managed to go into the record books for creating an audio system belting out 143 decibels. I wonder if he played "Born To Be Wild" on it.

Largest Bronze Bowl 03.06.2025

While bronze might be third in the Olympics, It's certainly first for my Guinness World Record segment this morning. The world's largest bronze bowl will need quite a few tubs of yoghurt to fill as it measures a whopping 1.7 metres high with a volume of 8.5 cubic metres. It was built in China in 2011. Certainly one to "bowl" you over.

And that's exactly what happened in Manilla, Philippines in October, 2023 when employees of Uratex and members of local charities gathered in a Manilla warehouse to comfortably set the world record for the largest human mattress dominoes.
