I had a chat with Member for Parkes, Mark Coulton about how the state is getting excited about reopening the border with Queensland. He also announced a great free trade agreement with Indonesia that will benefit producers. Other issues we discussed include a recent survey undertaken by veterans to help improve services provided by DVA, and an update on the Rural Health Commission.

I had a chat with Narrabri Shire Mayor, Cathy Reading today about how they are coping with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We also discussed what will be brought up in the next council meetings and sadly the Target in Narrabri being closed and how the Narrabri Shire council are looking for alternatives.

In this episode. I had a good conversation with the Mayor of Goondiwindi Shire, Lawrence Springborg who recently been rewarded with an Order of Australia Medal. We also discussed the council announcing halving the development application fees, construction in the shire and the upcoming budget meeting.

Good news if you're an AFL player in the area. The season should be going ahead around the middle of July. Training has already begun and I had a chat to AFL Moree's Annette Hadley about how excited everyone is getting about the return to training and getting to play matches again.

The rugby is starting up in the state again. I had a interview with Johnathon Wicks about which teams in the region are playing. He also revealed that the SANTOS Central North Rugby Championship is not going ahead this year. Super rugby is still on in New Zealand, and Central Plains Rugby will make a decision on whether to play or not by the end of this week.

Hello. I spoke to Member for Northern Tablelands and NSW minister for agriculture, Adam Marshall. We spoke about the restrictions being lifted. Also, surprisingly there's funding for a new hotel for horses and new cricket nets for the Moree Cricket ground.
