He coined the phrase "fifteen minutes of fame" and created Pop Art works that bordered on advertisement, such as Campbell's Soup Cans from 1962. King Edward and Earl Æthelred defeated the last major Viking army to invade England on this day at the Battle of Tettenhall. Also the Beatles release Yellow Submarine on this day too.

Normally the work week is around 40 hours and 30-35 hours in a cricket test match played over five days. However, the hardy chaps at Blunham Cricket Club in the UK have smashed the world record for the longest cricket marathon for six, beating their own previous record by 63 hours, totaling 168 hours and 22 minutes.
