You've heard of the "using your noodle" phrase, but this takes it to the extreme. Today's Guinness world record is for the world's longest noodle which was made by the Xiangnian food company in China, 2017. Stretched out end to end it measured over 3084 metres and used over 40kg of bread flower. One not to get tangled up in.

As we're warming up our leftovers in the microwave for dinner this evening, we can thank US inventor Percy Spencer for creating the time-saving cooking device in 1945. That's just one event I showcased on the brekky show this morning.

Game, set and match. I'm sure we've all tried to count how many times we could bounce a tennis ball on a racquet and beat our personal best. Now multiply that by 1474 people and you get the world record for the most number of people bouncing tennis balls on tennis racquets. It was certainly a ball. lol

This one is for the most number of candles put on said birthday cake. A team of 100 people from the Sri Chinmoy Centre in New York managed to set the record ablaze by lighting 72,585 candles on a single cake to celebrate what would have been meditation...

What does milk and the rock singer Sting have in common? Well that was his first job, helping his dad deliver milk as a child. He went on to become the front man for the Police and had a successful solo career starting with his first album, The Dream of the Blue Turtles in 1985.
