New Year. New Us. Choosing the Right Relationships! 07.01.2022 27:27
As the title suggests this episode is about choosing the right relationships, more specifically, friendships.
King Kyree Caught COVID 03.01.2022 19:44
I wanted to ring in the new year like everyone else. Out with friends and family, watching the ball drop. Instead, I was hunched over in bed throwing up and crying because I was in pain and suffering from the cold shakes. COVID isn't a joke and if we don't take it seriously, it will undo everything we ever built.
Gay in 2021: Dealing with Mental Health 13.12.2021 42:37
Being seen as the "other" in society, and being treated as such, can have terrible lasting effects on a person's mental health. Listen to me and my friend Luke as we share our stories of mental health struggles and how we overcame them. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health issues, please seek help or find help for them!
My Take on the Transgender Community 08.12.2021 22:31
I'm not going to pretend that I understand everything, because I don't. This is a statement of truth regarding my belief about the transgender community and some of their struggles. My intent is not to offend anyone but rather have the conversation about my understanding of who you are as a community. Of course the Dave Chappelle Netflix special prompted me to create this, but it's not the only th...
Kyle Rittenhouse Verdict: Should We be Surprised 20.11.2021 26:46
I won't tell you how to feel about Kyle Rittenhouse getting off on all charges, I can't, but here are my thoughts about it. These are my opinions and my opinions alone. You don't have to agree or understand, but I hope you'll listen.
Know the Cost to Be the Boss! 06.11.2021 10:01
Opportunity costs. Do you know what it means? To live life in the slow lane because you're afraid of the "what ifs" that could happen. Every decision has a cost to it, but don't let that stop you from pursuing something new. I learned that it can pay off to do new things, so go out there and do them!
Confession: I Want to be the "Bad Guy" 06.11.2021 30:51
I've thought of myself as the good guy for a long time, so much so that I've come to despise myself for caring about other people. How did I let you all think I was this weak?
Indoctrination: Capitalism and Bad Decisions 04.11.2021 27:41
If you know the difference between a bad decision and a mistake, congratulations because you're ahead of the curve. Capitalism in America has led to some very bad decisions on the parts of politicians, media outlets and the American public itself. Itself. We need to wake up before capitalism cost us more than it's worth!
Indoctrination: mixed kids in America 01.10.2021 18:52
In this episode I'm talking with one of my co-workers Desra Dodds regarding her opinions on mixed kids and interracial relationships. These opinions are our own and aren't meant to offend anyone.
Indoctrination: Policing in America 20.06.2021 32:39
In honor of Juneteenth, I talk about the indoctrination of the police in America in the sense that we, as a society, are torn as to their purpose vs their intended use.
Indoctrination: Gender 06.06.2021 30:21
Look up alimony, meninist and feminist and you'll understand what this podcast is all about. Some of the things that we are told to believe about the genders, are just bonkers in my opinion. Tell me what you think. Do you believe that the way that we are indoctrinated as it pertains to gender in America is okay, or do you think it needs to be updated?
Indoctrination: Series Opener 31.05.2021 17:09
The individual beliefs that we hold may not actually be our own based off of the act of indoctrination. If you are unaware of what indoctrination is or how it can affect people on a mass scale, then I advise you to both pay attention and try your best to understand what I'm talking about. I don't want you to take the things that I say at face value with this potential series, but rather listen and...
Customer Service: Harder Than You Think 28.05.2021 19:24
If you have never been in a customer service role, then congratulations to you. Just know that doesn't make you better than anyone who has, it makes you more fortunate! Customer service facing roles can be some of the most degrading and unflattering careers out there. Just because someone chooses to be in a customer service position doesn't mean they don't like it, or they need something more.
Ma'Khia Bryant: A situation misunderstood. 23.04.2021 12:41
Regardless of which camp you are in, the fact of the matter is a sixteen year old girl is dead. How did this happen and how did things get to that point? I am not sure, so I cannot rightfully decide who is wrong and who is right. All I know is, the attention the media is giving to this story only makes the loss that much harder to take.
The Power in Belief. 05.04.2021 13:05
You cannot argue with what someone believes because not all beliefs are based in reality. If I told you the sky was green with black and blue spots, who are you to argue with me. It's what I believe, whether it's true or not.
Escapism: Where Do You Go? 05.04.2021 13:13
Life is hard sometimes, so when the going gets tough, escape. There's nothing wrong with wanting to escape the stresses of life, if done in moderation. So how do you do it?
What A Vision! Now, To Destroy It! 25.03.2021 15:54
As millennials, we were always encouraged to think outside the box. To be innovators. To be inventors. To dream big and to win it all! But what about the reality? The reality that anything and everything, including your vision, can be taken from you. Again, as a generation, we were told something that wasn't entirely true. The harsh reality is, there are asterisks and clauses hidden behind everyth...
Politics and Politicians: What Do We Really Know? 19.03.2021 13:56
"I'm sorry, but I don't like to talk politics". This is a common line many Americans use to avoid speaking about their political affiliation... But why? If we can have an hours long conversation about football, the Grammys or the latest superhero flick, why can't we speak about politics? Is it really because we don't want to start an argument or is it because we don't know what the fuck we're talk...
Parenting Parents: Life of a Millennial 10.03.2021 20:29
In our day and age, I always thought that my added responsibility of teaching my mother was normal. As it turns out, the role reversal of parenting a parent usually comes later in life (according to my therapist). Then I found out many of my friends/coworkers do it too, which lead me to create this episode. Let me know if this is a trend you have noticed in your life, parenting your own parent.
Coping in 2021: How do YOU do it? 15.02.2021 22:29
No wrong answers here, but how do you cope? In this time coping is more important than ever, but whether you do a constructively or destructively is what matters most. I have been in both camps, where I've coped in both constructive and destructive ways, but I've made it out in mostly one piece. Tell me how you cope because I really want to know.
This Is America: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly 07.01.2021 1:14:58
This episode was an impromptu response that my friend Darius and I had when the news regarding the "protestors" outside of the capital building broke. The United States of America has not always been bad, but we are far away from being good. Listen to Darius and I as we talk about our experiences with this good ole country of ours in a light that is, dare I say it, more truthful?! At least from ou...
My 2021 Resolution 01.01.2021 18:57
Everyone suffers in silence about something. Trust and believe that.
What Motivates YOU?! 26.12.2020 33:11
ATTENTION! Spoiler alert regarding WW84. Other than that, feel free to tell me what you think.
Working hard for THEIR money! 02.12.2020 23:30
Being part of the working poor sucks ass! Being a millennial that did everything by the rules society dictated as the way to success, just to fail is even worse. Minimum wage increases are not enough. The working poor needs to come together and fight those who control us, the SUPER RICH!
Ableism: Aren't You Happy It Isn't You?! 18.11.2020 18:01
Here is a portion of the review I sent in to the restaurant in question. How would you feel if it were you and your friends/family?! "...I pointed out the disproportionate seating available for handicapped individuals eating at this location. Because of the quarantine rules, we are at 50% capacity, which means certain tables are unavailable, I understand, but why are there only THREE possible tabl...
