People all across the nation came together last night in prayer for Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin, who collapsed suddenly during last night's Monday Night Football game. Though Damar's health is still up in the air, something pretty incredible has come out of it.

When you really think about it, the reality of the Christmas story is breath taking. Jesus was created of a mother who He created, He was carried by hands that he formed, He cried in the manger in wordless infancy. All by design. Because of that baby, we have hope.

What J. I. Packer said about the beauty of Jesus in human form really resets my gaze on the beauty of Christ this Christmas and I hope it might do the same for you!

If you're just not feeling the spirit of Christmas yet, I pray these words will help.

If life feels dark to you, be encouraged, friend. Brighter days are coming.
