Since the pandemic began, roughly 5,500 COVID-19 tests were undertaken in BC First Nations communities, and only three active cases remain. Dr. Shannon McDonald, chief medical officer for the First Nations Health Authority, joined the program to talk about how swift action in those communities to stop the spread of the virus has paid off with a very low number of cases.
