Adam spoke with Victoria Councillor Stephen Andrew about his ride along with Victoria Bylaw through Victoria’s homeless community. Councillor Andrew shared what he saw and what pitfalls are causing this problem to worsen.

Alan Perry was in for Adam today. In this hour, Alan was joined by Ron Cheffins, UVic Professor Emeritus of Law and Political Science, for their weekly political discussion. This week they discussed how the Conservative party has been unable to gain significant support in large urban areas. Alan closed out the show by opening up the phone lines to take calls from listeners.

Alan spoke with Dr. Caroline Colijn, founder of BC COVID-19 Modelling Group, Canada 150 Research Chair in Mathematics for Evolution, Infection and Public Health, about what the data and modelling is telling  us about his fourth wave of COVID-19. They also took questions from listeners about COVID-19.

It’s Fire Prevention Week this week and Assistant Chief Brad Sifert of the Victoria Fire Department is doing all he can to educate the public about safety. Brad joined Alan to talk about fire safety and understanding the different sounds made by smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
