This week @adafruit we’re taking a look at our SLA snap-on enclosures in the Adafruit shop. Noe is prototyping the motorized turntable using the TMC2209 stepper driver and a lazy susan from IKEA. We've been cranking out some nice stepper driver chip breakouts - the A4988 (https://www.digikey.com/short/qzmjwjvv) and the TMC2209 (https://www.digikey.com/short/p4fh9mm4) so far! We've gotten more requests for a 'brushless DC' motor driver - particularly a compact one that is sensorless and has digital control. To be honest, we've never used BLDC motors, but hey, it's never a bad time to check...

We got this kind of nifty sample of a Neopixel 'sheet,' which is uncut LED strips - the whole thing is flexible PCB material with a cuttable square pitch of 1 cm per pixel. it's arranged as a zigzag, so you can immediately use it as one strand of neopixel in a 12 x 24 arrangement. Okay, we've got our 1.3" round TFT prototype ready for testing - and here's a cute GIF of a dial turning back and forth. It's a great way to test the display, backlight, and SD card interface.
