Last year around this time we designed the Hallowing M0. This year we've got the Hallowing M4, which has an upgraded chip, now a Cortex M4 @ 120MHz with lots more memory to run CircuitPython. The display is also upgraded, 240x240 IPS, and we've added 4 side-light neopixels. Other than that, its pretty much the same design. We saw these ultra-low cost (20 cents!) 3-axis accelerometers on LCSC a few month ago and have been experimenting with them. They've got +-2/4/8/16g range, and 14bit resolution according to the datasheet. There's also tap & freefall detection which makes them a good alternative to accelerometers that are 2 or 3x the price.
