As Christians in a world system that is increasingly hostile to the Gospel, we must aspire to be the salt of God's word and the light of God's love. It's the truth of God’s Word that preserves society from moral and spiritual decay. Salt is the truth we say, and the light is the love that we show. People aren’t changed by merely what we say but rather what they see. Listen to The Well Podcast ⤵ Sp...

The Church is the household of God. But if each member selfishly uses their unique gifts for themselves instead of contributing to the Church, it results in unhealthiness and weakness. We must use our gifts faithfully and we will see God’s Kingdom grow. Our real hope is found in the gospel of Jesus Christ. As Christians, our first allegiance must be to the Kingdom of God and the multi-ethnic family of God. As Christians living in modern America, we have all been politicized, and we must renew our minds to think biblically, not politically.   Listen to The Well Podcast ⤵ Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5wadnywAMEK7c0E1qatMoY?si=SjH6Ko7VR3Oo...

When it comes to the invitation to join the movement of God, He doesn’t want something from you, He wants something for you. God's plan for the church is to live open-handed and outward focused and for His followers to be open-hearted and obedient. We live in a society where many people compromise and get saturated in the sin of the world. To have a right relationship with God, you must seek to be holy. It's the repentance of sin that restores us to Him and the blood of Jesus Christ that can wash away the stain of our sin.  Listen to The Well Podcast ⤵ Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5wadnywAMEK7c0E1qatMoY?si=SjH6Ko7VR3OoHrRy1yYLlQ&nd...

Hebrews warns us not to forsake meeting together, but to encourage one another. A healthy local church is one that is growing in new believers, going to the lost, and grounded in God’s Word. We must commit to living in biblical community. The marriage between human philosophy and biblical theology leads to apostasy. We must aspire to follow the foundational beliefs essential to the Christian faith and stand for the truth of God's Word.  Listen to The Well Podcast ⤵ Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5wadnywAMEK7c0E1qatMoY?si=SjH6Ko7VR3OoHrRy1yYLlQ&nd=1&dlsi=395ae55d95ac4b11 Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/...

We live in a day where biblical Christianity is no longer mainstream. It's the suppression of truth, God's demotion, man's promotion, and moral destruction that will eventually lead to the moral ruin and destruction of a Christian nation. While sin brings death and destruction, our hope is found in the gospel that brings life and liberty. Listen to The Well Podcast ⤵ Spotify: https://open.spotify....

Next Generation Leaders - 1 Peter 5:5-6 1 Peter 5:1-5, The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; nor as being lords over those entrusted to you...

Suffering for Righteousness – 1 Peter 4:12-19 The Church has always been refined in the fires of persecution. 2 Timothy 3:12, Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. How to suffer for righteousness… 1)Be ready. 1 Peter 4:12, Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you. We should...

How Now Shall We Live? 1 Peter 4:7-11 Suffering is a catalyst God uses to grow us into Christlikeness so we can bring Him greater glory! The Apostle Peter is writing to a suffering Church in the first century. His words are more relevant than ever to the Church of the 21st century. How Now Shall We Live? 1)Live with urgency. 1 Peter 4:7, “But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious...

Right Thinking, Right Living - 1 Peter 4:1-6 1 Peter 3:18-19, “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, 19 by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison.” 1 Peter 4:1-2, Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he...

The Crucified Life, Part 4 The cross is not only the power of God to save us but God’s power to us who are saved! (See 1 Corinthians 1:18) The Three Crosses of Christianity… 1)The cross on which Christ was crucified for you. Galatians 3:1, “O foolish Galatians! The Crucified Life, Part 2 - Romans 6 The cross is not just God’s power to save us but the power of God to us who are saved.  Key concept of the Cross… The blood is for our forgiveness. The cross is for our deliverance. The blood forgives us of sin’s penalty (Ephesians 1:7). The cross delivers us from sin’s power. (Galatians 2:20, Luke 9:23) Ephesians 1:7, “In Him we have redemption through His bl...

The Crucified Life, Part 1 - Romans 7 Jesus said He came to give us life abundantly, yet most Christians live consistently in inconsistency if not complete captivity. This is the problem the Apostle Paul articulated in Romans 7:7-24. Romans 7 is the Apostle Paul’s personal story of futility in fighting his flesh—his sinnature. Paul’s story is the story of all of us. We all go through the same “stu...
