This has been "The Year of the Shift!" We have experienced God move in amazing ways in our lives. We have learned to contend for the shift, live boldly, and shift destiny. In today's message, we learn how God brought a shift in the life of Esther.

We have all experienced detours: different routes to the same destination. But Jesus didn't change to take us on a detour, he came to change our destination. As we reflect on the Christmas story, we learn Jesus is "The Divine Shift" that we all need!

Do we value God's presence even more than presents?

As we end our Shifting Destiny series, we are challenged with the call to go into all the world and bring the light of Jesus. But there are things that keep us from doing that. Today, we will learn to shake the dust off our feet and "Take Jesus Everywhere!"

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. The God who changed lives in history is still changing lives in the present. Will you let Him change yours?

As we step into shifted destiny, we often find places where we continue to get stuck. In today's message we meet a man who was stuck not being able to hear the truth because he had an evil spirit preventing him from hearing. That is until the Apostle Paul bound the enemy and sent him packing. We, too, have Power over the enemy!

God doesn't just shift destiny; He sets us apart for His kingdom purposes. Today we will learn about the sending of Barnabas and Saul into their ministry. As we do, we find that they were called, confirmed, commissioned and carried. This is the Set Apart life.

There has always been and will always be, kingdoms that rise and fall. These systems are the way of the world, and they preach self-importance and superiority. But I've got news for you: kingdoms fall at the name of Jesus. He is the King of Kings and He is above all things!

God shifts our destiny and we start cruising along the road of life. We hit unexpected turns, detours, and struggles along the way. But sometimes, we come to a complete stop and shift into reverse. Today we will learn what to do in those seasons and discover how to get back on the road again.

When we pray, do we expect anything to happen? Or are they just words that make us feel better that we tried? In Acts 12, when God answers prayer with a miracle, the church seems to be surprised. Let's take a look and discover that prayer shifts destiny.

A word from our missionaries in India. The commission is for all of us--to steward what the Lord has given us to do, whether in another nation or right here in our own home, our own high school, our own city.

Do you believe a person can a person change? God can use anybody, no matter their past, or even their present, because He doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called!

Let's face it. We get stuck in our old ways of thinking. Those old ways can keep us from fully experiencing what God has for us. Today, as we continue learning how God shifts destiny, we discover that sometimes we need a paradigm shift.

There's more than one way to share the gospel. Last week, we saw Saul proclaiming Jesus in the streets. This week, we see Peter operating in miracles that opened hearts to receive the gospel. We, too, can operate in the miraculous. Let's find out how!

When God changes your life, it is natural to testify to what He was done. But what if you are rejected, hated, and persecuted? Friend, the problem isn't you; the problem is darkness. So, we must become brighter lights for Jesus in the midst of darkness.

In Acts 9, we meet the most unlikely evangelist in church history. Saul was on his way to destroy the work of Jesus. But instead, Jesus met Saul and redeemed every area of his life. It's unlikely, but that's how God works. He doesn't just do unlikely things, He chooses unlikely people and shifts their destiny. And He will do the same for you.

God is moving--not just at ALCC, but around the world!!

The detours God provides on our journey are strategically placed for divine appointments. Divine appointments reveal Jesus. Living boldly leads to divine opportunities to share Jesus. Do you see yourself as someone who has been sent? Are you posturing yourself for God's divine appointments in your life? How can you ready yourself for the next appointment He has for you?

Jesus turns the culture upside down, as he tells the crowd in Matthew 5: I see you; I get you; I choose you; I transform you. It is the same message for us today.

Have you ever been left on read? It is so frustrating to know that someone received your message but didn't bother responding. In today's sermon, we discover that we may have done the same thing to the Holy Spirit. He's been delivered, but it's up to us to respond.

We have opportunity to persevere through opposition. We can do that by keeping our eyes on Jesus. Turn your persecution into opportunity. Be careful not to give the devil a foothold by clinging to anger, bitterness, or unforgiveness toward the persecutor. Be about the father's business. Forced movement can produce intentional outreach.

All around us in noise, opposition, influence and even persecution. How do you stay true to living boldly with all that chaos? Today, we will examine the life of Stephen and learn how he got into the zone so he could focus on the right things.

We are called to be ready to give an answer for the hope that we have. In today's sermon, we will hear about a man who did just that. And when the time came, he stepped out boldly for Jesus. Let's learn to do the same: Be ready!
