A Word of Grace

Search me, O God, and know my heart today; Try me, O Savior, know my thoughts, I pray. See if there be some wicked way in me; Cleanse me from ev'ry sin and set me free. Behold the throne of grace! The promise calls me near: there Jesus shows a smiling face, and waits to answer prayer. That rich atoning blood, which sprinkled round we see, provides for those who come to God an all prevailing plea. Take time to be holy, speak oft with thy Lord; Abide in Him always, and feed on His Word. Make friends of God’s children, help those who are weak, Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek.
