A View from the Bunker

BRINGING TOGETHER over three dozen out-of-the-box thinkers in the fields of Bible prophecy, transhumanism, economics, ufology, politics, and theology is a huge undertaking.  Prophecy in the News, the ministry started by the late J.R. Church, has been exploring these cutting-edge topics from a biblical perspective for more than two decades. Gary Stearman, Executive Producer and host of the Prophecy...

WALKING POINT, watching on the wall, or being out in front of a new trend means you're an easy target for snipers.  Our guest tonight is getting used to catching flak for his career choices. Joseph Farah, founder and CEO of WorldNetDaily, joined us at the Prophecy Summit at Pikes Peak to discuss why he chose to leave the traditional newspaper business for the Internet, why he decided to move from...

THE GIANTS of Genesis 6 are not universally accepted as actually having been, well, giant, even among Christians.  Skeptics are more likely to dismiss most or all of the history in the Bible, so to them the concept of giants — especially ones created by the mating of supernatural beings and human women — is especially far-fetched. L.A. Marzulli has devoted a great deal of time and energy to tracki...

AS CRAZY as it sounds, the Bible makes it plain that at some point in the future a coalition of armies will actually try to fight God.  That conflict is known to us as the Battle of Armageddon, a word that has come to broadly represent a terrifying event at the end of all things. Russ Dizdar, founder of Shatter the Darkness Ministries and author of The Black Awakening, discusses the desire by the...

ONE OF the most discussed topics among prophecy scholars is the timing of the events of the End Times.  Offering a new take on a subject that's been debated since the time of the apostle Paul is difficult. Doug Hamp, author of Corrupting the Image: Angels, Aliens, and the Antichrist Revealed and the forthcoming book The Millennium Chronicles, joined us at the Prophecy Summit to explain why he beli...

A COTTAGE industry of conspiracy theorizing has grown up around the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.  As the 50th anniversary of the event draws near, we discuss a new book that looks at all of the major theories and tries to untangle the threads. Two-time New York Times best-selling author Dr. Jerome Corsi joins us to discuss his new book, Who Really Killed Kennedy? 50 Years Later: Stu...

IT IS either one of the most important archaeological artifacts of all time or a colossal forgery that has fooled people for hundreds of years. Russ Breault, president of the Shroud of Turin Education Project, discusses how using a CSI approach to investigate the Shroud leads us through early church history, ancient art, modern science, and medical forensics in search of the truth. This interview...

THE MOST mysterious piece of fabric in the world is a length of linen housed at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Turin, northern Italy.  Some believe it is the burial shroud of Jesus of Nazareth, due to the inexplicable imprint of the image of a man who suffered physical trauma consistent with crucifixion. Barrie Schwortz is the president of the Shroud of Turin Education and Research Assoc...

THE LARGEST Christian denomination on the planet seems to have a profound interest in things happening off planet — meaning outer space.  The Roman Catholic Church has been involved in astronomical studies since the time of Galileo. Cris Putnam, co-author with Tom Horn of Exo-Vaticana: Petrus Romanus, Project LUCIFER, and the Vatican's Astonishing Exo-Theological Plan for the Arrival of an Alien S...

BEING A Christian is like being a fan of the Chicago Cubs: You're not meant to experience your ultimate reward in this lifetime.  At least not usually.  Today, however, we hear the story of a man who was clinically dead three times on Good Friday of 2011, but is still with us today to describe the event. Terry James is the author, co-author and general editor of numerous books on Bible prophecy, t...

ARCHAEOLOGY IS fascinating. It's like detective work on very old, very cold cases. Today, we discuss the case of a maritime disaster that nearly claimed 276 lives in the Mediterranean Sea more than 1,950 years ago. Several years ago, Mark Gatt, a researcher, diver, and native of the island nation of Malta, discovered a 3/4-ton lead anchor stock near Salina Bay, off the northeast coast of Malta.  A...

EVERYBODY WANTS to go to heaven, but nobody knows exactly what to expect.  The Bible gives us glimpses here and there; for example, in 2 Corinthians 5:10, we read: For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. Dr. Sam Hoyt, author of The Judgment Seat of Christ: A Biblical and Theological...

MOST CHRISTIANS know very little about the Jewish foundation of our faith.  This is ironic, since Jesus — when you think about it — was the consummate Jew in that he fulfilled the Law perfectly. While we no longer live under the Law, Pastor Mark Biltz, founder of El Shaddai Ministries, believes that a deeper understanding of the festivals of the Lord and the cultural context from which the Gospel...

MANY OF the historic sites described in the Book of Exodus are fenced off and surrounded by guards and "No Trespassing" signs. It appears the government of Saudi Arabia has no desire to allow physical proof of the biblical account to come to light. Dr. Lennart Moller, in an interview recorded at the Prophecy Summit at Pikes Peak, discusses his passion for biblical history, his travels through the...

HIS SEARCH for truth led him from the streets of Los Angeles, where he served as a police investigator and SWAT team member, to what may be the site of the biblical Mount Sinai. And yet his children believe his most impressive achievement may be having his findings featured as a question on a Trivial Pursuit™ card. Bob Cornuke is the author of six books and president of the Bible Archaeology Searc...

"CARL, WE'RE not Satanists." That may be the worst recruiting pitch in history.  It was directed at our guest, Carl Teichrib, Editor of Forcing Change and host of Forcing Change Radio, who says it started him down a path of research and writing that has turned into a full-time ministry. Carl says that while most Freemasons join for good reasons (social interaction, business contacts, community wor...

IT DOESN'T take medical training to recognize that our world is sick. One might say that what we need now, more than anything, is a doctor of singular skill. While we wait for His return, we discuss the ills that plague us with Dr. Stanley Monteith, host of Radio Liberty and author of Brotherhood of Darkness and AIDS: The Unnecessary Epidemic.  Dr. Stan talks about the global elites who want to ru...

WHAT PRICE does a syndicated radio talk show host pay when he decides to pass on a network cable TV deal in favor of speaking the truth?  At the very least, you can kiss prime time and the New York Times bestseller list goodbye. Paul McGuire hosted a nationally syndicated radio program from Los Angeles for ten years. He is the author of 16 books including The Day The Dollar Died, which deals with...

THE NEPHILIM have joined "timeline of the Apocalypse" on the official list of Things That Make Christians Argue. (If there was such a list.) So why would a credentialed scholar of history use his vacation time to travel to Peru to examine deformed skulls, looking for clues to the history of the mysterious "mighty men who were of old"? Dr. Judd Burton, author of Interview With the Giant and directo...

A PROPER view of money is vital to preparing for the End of Days. So says Jerry Robinson, who is an economist, the best-selling author of Bankruptcy of Our Nation: 21 Income Streams, P.A.C.E. Investing, and More, Editor-in-Chief of FTM (Follow The Money) Daily News, and the host of the radio show, Follow the Money Weekly. Jerry talked with us at the Prophecy Summit at Pikes Peak and made some exce...

IT TAKES a unique personality to carve out a unique career path in a field that doesn't generally pay well to begin with.  Bill Koenig took a degree in Communications from Arizona State University and in 1996, when the Internet was still a new thing, created his own online news and analysis site.  Today, Koenig International News and WorldWatchDaily draw readers and email subscribers from all 50 s...

PROPHECY SCHOLARS have studied, wondered, and debated for more than two thousand years about the identity of the End Times political and religious leader called the Antichrist.  His places of origin include Europe generally, Rome specifically, and even Assyria.  But what if the Antichrist actually emerges right here in the U.S.A.? Doug Woodward has co-authored a new book with the men behind The Tr...

WARS AND rumors of wars; nation shall rise against nation. Jesus told his disciples that those were signs of the End Times (Matthew 24:6-7). Many prophecy students read the verses as referring to the same events. But what if they are to be taken as separate periods of time? David Brennan, author of The Israel Omen and The Israel Omen II, explains why verses 6 and 7 of the 24th chapter of Matthew s...

HARDLY A day passes without news of unrest and violence in the Middle East.  To help understand the prophetic implications, we turn to the founder of Prophecy Depot Ministries and the author of the best-selling Isralestine: The Ancient Blueprints of the Future Middle East, Revelation Road, and his latest, Psalm 83: The Missing Prophecy Revealed – How Israel Becomes the Next Mideast Superpower, Bil...

THE TIMES are quickly changing, and trying to get a handle on where we're going is no easy task.  So we brought together three of the brightest young minds in Bible prophecy scholarship for a round table discussion on the road ahead. In a late-night session recorded at the Prophecy Summit, Ken Johnson ( www. BibleFacts.org ), Exo Vaticana co-author Cris Putnam ( www. LogosApologia.org ), and Doug...
