FOR EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven, we are told in Ecclesiastes 3. Sometimes a change of season means a change of role as we try to serve the Lord to the best of our ability. That appears to be the case for our friend Doc Marquis, who is partnering with Dr. David Schnittger and Carol Rushton in a new venture, Southwest Prophecy Ministries. Doc and Dr. Schnit...

Follow L.A.'s blog by clicking here, and click here for his radio program, Acceleration Radio. Please join Derek and Sharon Gilbert each Sunday for the Gilbert House...

AS CHRISTIANS, we are supposed to place our trust in the providence of God. How does that square with the notion of "prepping"? Please join Derek and Sharon Gilbert each Sunday for the Gilbert House Fellowship, our weekl...

CHRISTIANS IN the Middle East are literally under the gun. A hundred years ago, they accounted for about 20% of the population; today, Christians are less than 5% of the Middle East population and that number is shrinking. Senior Pentagon strategist LTC Robert Maginnis, author of the new book Never Submit: Will the Extermination of Christians Get Worse Before it Gets Better?, lays out the dangerou...

Doug Elwell, author of Mysterious World: Ireland and publisher of the fascinating Mysterious World website, joins us to discuss his book Planet X: The Sign of the Son of Man and the End of the Age. Doug explains why he believes Planet X has been used by God to create the wor...

CONFUSION ABOUNDS when it comes to the timing of Christ's return. Today we welcome back Doug Stauffer to address some questions about the Pre-Tribulation Rapture: How scriptures are misapplied in our understanding of prophecy, why it's critical to differentiate between Israel and the church, and the identities of the Two Witnesses of the Book of Revelation. THE SEARCH for Planet X began after the discovery of Neptune in 1846. The hunt continues, but now with some fear and trepidation–many believe something is coming our way that could mean the end of the world as we know it. Mark Combs, author of End: The Beginning, discusses the theories behind the mysterious and as yet undiscovered body, and the role it may have played in shaping human history. Ple...

NEPHILIM IN the New Testament? Surely Brian Godawa has stretched his Chronicles of the Nephilim series at least one book too far! But no! Brian joins us to discuss his latest novel, Jesus Triumphant: Chronicles of the Nephilim Book Eight, and makes the case that the giants who caused so much trouble throughout the history of Israel were still in the land for one last attempt at preventing the Mess...

TITANS APPEAR, seemingly from nowhere, and fall upon the unwary human race, eating every one they catch and driving mankind to the point of extinction. To survive, the remnant of humanity hides inside a series of massive walls in despair. That sounds like an overview of the Book of Enoch or certain myths from the ancient Near East, but it is actually the premise of a wildly popular Japanese manga/...

IS IT really possible that one of the most significant events in history left no trace in the archaeological record? That's the consensus of Egyptologists, who contend that the 400-year sojourn of the Hebrews never happened because there is no evidence. Could the national history of Israel, as well as the foundation for Judeo-Christian morality, actually be a work of fiction? Filmmaker Tim Mahoney...

IT SEEMS fitting that a Transhumanist religion, based on science and promising immortality by uploading consciousness into an avatar, would hold a workshop in virtual reality. Carl Teichrib, founder and editor of Forcing Change, was there in the virtual crowd (see image at right) for the Terasem Movement's annual workshop on Geoethical Nanotechnology. He discusses the principles of Terasem and tra...

THE THREAT of an Iranian nuclear weapon has dominated American news for months because of the just-announced, long-delayed deal over Iran's nuclear program. But the president's nominee to be the next chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine Corps Gen. Joseph Dunford, considers Russia to be the biggest threat to the United States, calling Russia's behavior lately "nothing short of alarming." D...

WHILE THE world watched Greece, the stock market in China collapsed, losing the equivalent of 12 Greeces in value in the span of three weeks. What the heck is going on? Dene McGriff draws on 30 years of international ministry and business experience to offer some insight into the wild fluctuations in the Chinese markets, and he makes some common-sense suggestions for how Christians can prepare for...

THE MORAL attitudes of the United States public have changed more quickly in the last ten years than at almost any point in our history. Even our president has changed his mind during his term in office on one of the hot-button social issues of the day. What's going on out there? Doug Krieger, publisher of The Tribulation Network website and co-author of Final Babylon: America and the Coming of An...

THE LEGAL basis for marriage in the United States now appears to be "because they want to". That being the case, where does the line get drawn? John Haller, trial attorney by training and teaching pastor at Fellowship Bible Chapel in Columbus, Ohio, explains the legal, moral, and prophetic implications of the Supreme Court's ruling on same-sex marriage, and he makes some recommendations for religi...

THE TERM "Christian Transhumanist" is probably considered an oxymoron by many of us. That's understandable; some of the leaders in the Transhumanist movement openly state their goals for humanity to be omnipotence or transformation into a Borg-like hive mind. Rev. Dr. Christopher Benek, associate pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, argues that the time has come for Christians t...

IF THE first rule of warfare is knowing one's enemy, then Christians in the West are woefully unprepared. Rev. Dr. Robert Bennett, author of I Am Not Afraid: Demon Possession and Spiritual Warfare, joins us to discuss a recent ritual performed by Roman Catholic priests in Mexico–a mass exorcism intended to drive the demons out of country. Is this an effective approach? What does the Bible tell us...

SCIENTISTS HAVE found–not for the first time–blood and soft tissue inside dinosaur bones. How is it that tissue that decomposes in at most 2.7 million years (when frozen) can remain fresh inside 65-75 million year old fossils? Cowboy Bob Sorensen, creator of the Question Evolution Project, joins us to discuss the evidence (including Carbon-14 in dinosaur bones) and some of the logical fallacies of...

A RENOWNED Roman Catholic exorcist led a group of priests, accompanied by an archbishop and a cardinal, in a unique ceremony May 20th at the cathedral of San Luis Potosi in Mexico. The purpose was to exorcise demons from Mexico — demons that they believe have pulled Mexico into a destructive cycle of drugs and violence. Is it possible to exorcise demons from a geographic area? Would demons even be...

THE LESSONS of history are hard won and too easily forgotten. Reading the Old Testament, it is easy to be surprised at the ease with which the Hebrews fell into apostasy after being rescued by Yahweh from the Egyptians, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Philistines, and so on. But is modern America any different? John McTernan, author of As America Has Done to Israel, discusses the parallels betwee...

THE FAMILY of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar has been under a microscope since reports that their son, Josh, had admitted to molesting five minor girls as a teen. Critics have seized on the Duggars' very public drama to take shots at homeschooling ("Duggar Case Reveals Need for More Homeschool Oversight", "Bad Science from the Duggars' Homeschool Cult", "The Duggars' Creepy Homeschool Curriculum's Gu...

IT SOUNDS bizarre, but you can draw a line connecting the fertility cult of Baal in the ancient Near East to the modern green movement. The midpoint of that line is, oddly, Nazi Germany. Mark Musser, author of the book Nazi Oaks: The Green Sacrifice of the Judeo-Christian Worldview in the Holocaust, explains how the Holocaust was carried out under a green cover: Nazi racism was rooted in the Socia...

2015 COULD be the year we learn that we're not alone in the universe. It appears that the Vatican thinks it knows something is coming and is positioning itself to prepare the faithful for a so-called "disclosure event". Cris Putnam, co-author with Tom Horn of Exo Vaticana and the new book On the Path of the Immortals, joins us to discuss his research into the Roman Catholic Church's apparent fasci...
