A View from the Bunker

NO ONE in their right mind would subject themselves, their family members, or their friends to the type of vicious, partisan attacks one has to endure to become president. That means that anyone we elect is, by definition, insane. So, how do we, as Christians, find a candidate we can support? Dr. Michael Bennett, author of Two Masters and Two Gospels Vol. 1, returns for a further discussion of his...

AS A wise evangelist once said, we’ve become so open-minded in America that our brains have fallen out. That pretty much describes the faithless and powerless Christian church described in Lars Walker’s 1999 novel Wolf Time. By the time of the story told in 2014’s Death’s Doors, set in the same fictional town of Epsom, Minnesota, the true church has gone underground, assisted suicide is a constitu...

THE DESTRUCTION of statues and monuments completely unrelated to slavery makes no sense if the protests are about racial injustice. Author and lecturer Avi Lipkin ( www. AviLipkin.net ) says the explanation is in an alliance struck five years ago between BLM and the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Then we discuss how archaeology is proving the truth of the Bible to skeptics, including skept...

AMERICAN CHRISTIANS are some of our most patriotic citizens. Unfortunately, too often we conflate God and country. THE WORLD has gone mad in the last 30 days. A month ago, the media and health experts condemned peaceful protests against travel restrictions imposed in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Since then, the narrative has completely flipped, and some health experts are literally claiming that mass protests in the wake of the death of George Floyd are fine. Not just fine, actually; more than 1,000 heal...
