Just back from having Covid Dean sits down with Martin and talks about everything from the Pagan Festival of Halloween, Martin leading Good Friday prayers on St Margarets Traveller site, to pilgrimages and black fasts on an Island on Lough Derg in Donegal. We also promote our first live show in axis Ballymun on Nov 18th.

We have the pleasure of sitting down with the courageous, charismatic and intelligent Hughie Maughan. Hughie is Martins neighbour, and this conversation explores so many important themes. In this episode we are joined by another very special guest, Pauline Scurry, Dean's Mother. Pauline talks about her life growing up in Eastwall, working in Wales as a teenager, meeting Dean's Da, Paul Scurry, getting married, rearing six kids in Ballymun in the 80s, and her Recovery journey. This is another very rare conversation.

We chat with Fr Peter McVerry about how his work began in Ballymun and the Dublin North Inner City during the 1970s and 80s and where its going in 2022 and beyond. We talk about God, love, compassion, service, greed, neoliberalism, housing first, a housing referendum and the necessary shift in perspective required to bring about real change in Ireland.
