A Sinner and Saint

Oh boy, these two knuckleheads have a birthday within a couple of weeks of each other. So on the B Side they're cracking a beer and sharing some of the best and worst of their birthday memories. 

Dreams really do come true, maybe?  Today the gusy talk about nightime dreams, discuss an impromptu Would You Rather, and offend Patrick's 5th grade teacher.  Come on in and make your dreams (or nightmares) come true. Today the guys discuss sleeping problems, they do a spin on a self diagnosis of the sinner and saint segment, and Ben accepts it's his brithday ,whether he likes it or not. Today's spirit is Negroni:  2oz gin   1.5oz sweet vermouth   .5oz Campari

On today's B side the guys reflect on MLK and his lasting legacy on today's society.  A little havier than normal but some good conversaiton to peel back social norms.

Today these dummies talk about what to buy to start a home bar, philosophies on work, careers, and happines and someone is about to celebrate an anniversary.  Jump in, the water is weird. Today's Spirit is a Black Manhattan :  2oz bourbon  1.5oz Sweer vermouth  .5oz amaro

This week's spirit is the Manhattan. Ben and Patrick put a twist on the Sinner and Saint segment and offend anyone who likes Peppermint.  Dive in!

Ben and Patrick skid into the new year with a doozie of an episode.  We talk sinner and saint moments with police officers and we learn Patrick once thought about out-running a cop.  They also talk New Years resolutions and the quality of intentionally chainging one's life.

In his flip around Patrick pours the drink and Ben sends us out with a spirit.  We also revisit SInner and Saint moments fron Christmas past.  It's a holiday treat, but it's (as always) a little sour.

Ben and Patrick have done it this time.  Patrick evicts a old man Corvette club, Ben get a mob to shout "you eat Poop" at a grown man, and Patrick teaches us all about Hanukkah.  Lets Go!!

Do you like cats?  These guys don't!!  Ben talks about how his parents had a cat adopts them and Patrick's daughter adopts a cat in an all-time parenting backfire. Thankfully cat talk pivots into Broadway musicals which just may have saved the episode.  Patrick and Ben just won't quit so dive right in!

Ben and Patrick just won't quit despite what their legal counsel says.  In this episode we learn Patrick loves a tequila sunrise as he oohs and aahs over the cocktail while Ben loses his cool and decides he hates everything from The Eagles to Biopics to Kevin Hart.

This one is a must listen.  Patrick is an absolute wild card and has Ben on tilt for most of the episode while they debate the existence of ghosts and whether a hot dog is a sandwich. DIve in, the guys are waiting.

Today Ben and Patrick talk Thanksgiving traditions.  We learn the Ben's Grandma was a fraud, Patrick has a confession, and Carl checks in with his darling bride Babs.

They lied!! They said they wouldnt get political, but they did.  In a very non opinoinated way, Ben and Patrick discuss politics and the importance of kindness and understanding in day to day life.
