We are called “A Shot of Soca” but this episode is a definitely more than a shot. We are here to celebrate the music so we thought why not just give you soca music! Our guests are like you and I, true masqueraders from different walks of life but united by the love of soca.

Zess was birthed in Trinidad but has firmly planted its roots across the Caribbean as it’s rapidly growing as a popular genre of music. As people from the Caribbean diaspora there’s no surprise we are seeing a growing scene in London for UK Zess. We sat down with Batch, Dj Bradshaw and Nie to discuss their brand, UK Zess and their plans for 2023.

We weren’t there for carnival this year but we had the pleasure of sitting down with somebody who rarely misses it, Vanisha.
