The controlling theme of our Podcasts is that we are all children of God who is no respecter of persons. We are all created equal by God. The primary purpose of a democratic republic is to protect that equality, making all laws equal to all citizens all the time. We need to return to the vision of our forefathers that "certain truths are self evident, that among our inalienable rights are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If we are to survive as a republic, we must hold firm to the Constitution and Bill of rights, to the balance of power, and above all, we must, as a Christian natio...

Season 2 Podcast 28 Freedom, Liberty, and Agency 29.09.2021

Freedom, Agency, and Liberty Freedom comes from temporal laws. Agency comes from spiritual laws. Liberty comes from manmade laws. When governments form, one of the primary challenges is to determine how much freedom people should have.  Freedom determines what is possible. Moral agency determines what is good and evil. Liberty determines what is legal or illegal.   Sometimes they clash.  For examp...

John Chapter 14 1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith...

Season 2 Podcast 23 O Death, Where is Thy Sting 22.09.2021

1 Corinthians Chapter 15 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 An...

The First Epistle General of Peter Chapter 1 1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. 3 Blessed be the God and Father o...

Season 2 Podcast 21 Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these 20.09.2021

Matthew 25:31-46 31 ¶ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto...

Season 2 Podcast 20 The Dirac Equation 17.09.2021

Revelation Chapter 21 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them,...

Season 2 Podcast 19 The Beginnings of Sorrows 17.09.2021

The Beginnings of Sorrows   Mark 13:7-8 7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.   Ecclesiastes 1:18 18 For in...

Season 2 Podcast 18 The Still Small Voice 15.09.2021

Psalm 23 A Psalm of David. 1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou p...

Season 2 Podcast 17, What is Truth? 14.09.2021

Season 2 Podcast 17, What is Truth?  In this life the only reality is truth.   Let me say it another way. That which is subject to entropy and has an end is not truth. It is merely a decaying reminder of its former self.  It is merely an illusion of reality, a foreshadowing, a personification of that which we might expect in the future.   Truth is not found in natural law.  Truth is found in spiri...

Season 2 Podcast 16 Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle or the Science of Freewill 13.09.2021

Psalm 119 105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. 106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments. 107 I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O Lord, according unto thy word. 108 Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord, and teach me thy judgments. 109 My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law. 1...

Season 2 Podcast 15 Something from Nothing 10.09.2021

JOB Chapter 38 1 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, 2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? 3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. 4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. 5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched th...

Season 2 Podcast 14 Peace Like a River, An Ode 09.09.2021

Revelation 22 1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curs...

Season 2 Podcast 13 Totalitarianism and the New Left 08.09.2021

First Amendment “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Season 2 Podcast 12 The Resurrection and the Three Degrees of Glory 07.09.2021

Season 2 Podcast 12 The Resurrection and The Three Degrees of Glory Christianity to some is more associated with hell than with heaven, perhaps because the images of hell are so startling. Of course, John Milton in Paradise Lost and Dante in the Inferno fixed hell in our minds forever.  An early American evangelist, Jonathon Edwards, in one sermon fixed hell in America’s minds with his unforgettab...

Season 2 Podcast 11 Complacency and Conspiracy 06.09.2021

The statue depicted in the photo has on its base the following script: “The heritage of the past is the seed that springs forth the harvest of the future.”  The quote is attributed to Wendell Phillips.  The preservation of our democratic republic depends upon what the Holy Bible refers to as The Law of the Harvest.  That which ye sow, ye shall also reap. Paul in Galatians 6 says the following, “Be...

Season 2 Podcast 10 Science and Faith, Some Random Thoughts 04.09.2021

Season 2 Podcast 10 Science and Faith, Some Random Thoughts The crisis of faith or the clash between science and religion did not occur with the emergence of science.  The emergence of science merely revealed how far we have strayed from the true God.  The moment that love was replaced with fear, superstition, fanaticism, crusades, and inquisitions, then the chains of bondage began to rattle, and...

Season 2 Podcast 9 The Lamb and the Tiger 02.09.2021

Season 2 Podcast 9 The Lamb and the Tiger  Love too. William Blake is another of my many favorite poets. The English romantic period began in England in 1798 associated with the publication Lyrical Ballads by Wordsworth and Coleridge. Blake was born in London in 1757.  He died in 1827. Blake epitomizes the romantic movement.  He was given to visions. At age 4 he saw God “Put is head to the window....

Season 2 Podcast 8 God is a Consuming Fire 01.09.2021

Matthew Chapter 5 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth...

Season 2 Podcast 7 What is Truth? 31.08.2021

Season 2 Podcast 7 What is Truth Perhaps all of us have thought that it would have been nice if we could be old and wise before we were young and foolish. That way we wouldn’t waste our youth.  But that is not in God’s plan.  We came to this earth to gain experience. And wisdom comes only with experience. The fall came about because Adam and Eve ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good an...

Season 2 Podcast 6 Hope 30.08.2021

1 Corinthians 13 Paul discusses the high status of charity—Charity, a pure love, excels and exceeds almost all else. 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains...

Season 2 Podcast 5 "Peaceful Sloth and Ignoble Ease" 28.08.2021

Season 2 Podcast 5 Ignoble Ease and Peaceful Sloth Today we are going to talk about the move from a Republican form of government to Socialism. Socialism may be dressed in the star-spangled banner of freedom, but it will always lead to misery, captivity, and slavery.  Only absolutes can be truly opposite.  Everything else is subject to manipulation, interpretation, logical fallacies, and squirming...

Season 2 Podcast 4 Holiness 26.08.2021

1 Corinthians 3  13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16 Know ye not t...
