A New Voice of Freedom

The controlling theme of our Podcasts is that we are all children of God who is no respecter of persons. We are all created equal by God. The primary purpose of a democratic republic is to protect that equality, making all laws equal to all citizens all the time. We need to return to the vision of our forefathers that "certain truths are self evident, that among our inalienable rights are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If we are to survive as a republic, we must hold firm to the Constitution and Bill of rights, to the balance of power, and above all, we must, as a Christian natio...

Season 3 Podcast 33 The Rime of the Ancient Mariner Pts III & IV 16.02.2022

The Rime of the Ancient Mariner Pts 3 & 4    In the previous Podcast, the Ancient Mariner shot the Albatross wantonly, violating the law of hospitality for they had invited the bird aboard their ship, fed him, and played with him.  Because of his great sin, the entire ship is cursed. Without fresh water to drink they are all near death.  They hang the albatross around the Mariner’s neck for pu...

Season 3 Podcast 32 The Rime of the Ancient Mariner Pts I and II 15.02.2022

The Rime of the Ancient Mariner Pts I & 2  This podcast is from a new volume entitled Poet’s Corner in which I call upon the works of writers from bygone years. In earlier times, perhaps more than today, many writers drew their art from the images of the Bible. Milton wrote Paradise Lost, Spenser wrote Faery Queen, John Bunyan wrote The Pilgrim’s Progress, all considered classics of religious...

Season 3 Podcast 31 First Amendment and Political Correctness 14.02.2022

First Amendment and Political Correctness The First Amendment states: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religibon, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." The First Amendment contains six assertions...

Season 3 Podcast 30 Democracy and the Need for God 11.02.2022

Democracy and the Need for God Democracy depends upon a universal belief in the existence of absolute law. When the laws of man become relative to majority opinion rather than to divine revelation, then the democratic republic will fall, and in its place will be a rusty form of totalitarianism. In a dictatorship, where power is the primary goal, religion must either be embodied in the ruler and us...

Season 3 Podcast 29 Heirs of God and Joint-Heirs with Christ 10.02.2022

Heirs of God and Joint-Heirs with Christ 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.  (Romans 8:16-17),  What does it mean to be a child of God?   If we take it literally, we must be the offspring of God. The...

Season 3 Podcast 28 Letter of John to the Church of Smyrna 09.02.2022

Letter of John to the Church of Smyrna  As recorded in Revelation 2: 8-11, John’s second letter is addressed to The Church of Smyrna. As mentioned in the podcast on the Letter to the Church of Ephesus, the number 7 represents completeness, holiness, or perfection. Each letter follows a similar pattern. John addresses their virtues; he addresses their vices; he issues a warning if they do not keep...

Season 3 Podcast 27 The War on Earth Pt II 08.02.2022

The War on Earth Pt II   Christ is God.  His power is immense, but he always limited himself to the faith of the believers. As James said,  14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstan...

Season 3 Podcast 26 The War on Earth Pt I 07.02.2022

The War on Earth Pt I There is a misconception that God created evil. It isn’t possible for God to create evil. He would negate himself. We all remember the Savior’s parable: 23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David? 24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. 25 And Jesus knew thei...

Season 3 Podcast 25 Manmade Law and Liberty 04.02.2022

Man Made Law and Liberty No free society can rise above the collective moral behavior of the majority of its citizens. In a dictatorship, when the majority defy the state, it is in the power of the tyrant to order his forces to execute the law and impose a punishment on the lot.  Only civil war can overthrow a tyrant.  In a democratic republic, however, it is in the power of the people to change t...

Season 3 Podcast 24 Grace and Works 03.02.2022

Grace and Works  Because of grace, all mankind will be resurrected, receive a perfect immortal body, and stand before the judgment bar of God.  However, because of the conditions imposed upon the law of mercy by the law of justice, eternal life with God must be a choice; therefore, another paradox exists—works vs. grace.   The answer to the paradox lies in Paul’s immortal statement:  “For by grace...

Season 3 Podcast 23 Letter of John to the Church of Ephesus 02.02.2022

John’s Letter to the Church of Ephesus In the Book of Revelation, John writes seven letters to the seven churches: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.  Of course, they are real letters to real churches in real places in real time; however, as all other images in Revelation, they are universal and need to be read collectively because they transcend time and plac...

Season 3 Podcast 22 What is Man 01.02.2022

What is Man? If you follow these podcasts, you will discover that there is one subject I return to again and again, and the subject is, What is man? The title is inspired by King David. 3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast mad...

Season 3 Podcast 21 The Spirit of America 31.01.2022

The Spirit of America We are losing our freedom in America today because we are turning away from the spirit and following the natural man.  It is the natural man that gives in to pride, that gives is to the lust for power and money and unjust control. It is in the nature of natural man that power, once achieved, will never be relinquished except by force. Six thousand years of history have proven...

Season 3 Podcast 20 Tyranny of the Majority 28.01.2022

Tyranny of the Majority Democracy is a delicate balance because the voice of one must be heard regardless of the popular opinions.  Socrates was executed because he was accused of “corrupting the youth” by teaching them to think independently.  The majority, of course, are a powerful force in a democracy because each vote counts, but to assume that the majority is right is to assume that the polit...

Season 3 Podcast 19 Progression 27.01.2022

Progression Where did consciousness come from?  Where did life come from? Where did matter and energy come from? Where did God come from?  Perhaps the best that can be said is that they are here, they have always been here, and they are here to stay because they cannot be created or destroyed. Look into the mirror. Ignore the wrinkles and blemishes that haunt us all and look into your crystal clea...

Season 3 Podcast 18 Everyman 26.01.2022

EVERYMAN HERE BEGINNETH A TREATISE HOW THE HIGH FATHER OF HEAVEN SENDETH DEATH TO SUMMON EVERY CREATURE TO COME AND GIVE ACCOUNT OF THEIR LIVES IN THIS WORLD AND IS IN MANNER OF A MORAL PLAY. Messenger. I pray you all give your audience, And hear this matter with reverence, By figure a moral play-- The Summoning of Everyman called it is, That of our lives and ending shows How transitory we be all...

Season 3 Podcast 17 The Journey 25.01.2022

The Journey The fall was necessary, or all progression would have stopped.  Living forever in the Garden of Eden may, in our tempestuous world, sound like a paradise, but it was a kind of prison.   Adam and Eve wanted freedom.  They wanted knowledge of good and evil so that they could have agency.  Furthermore, they wanted children.   They knew that we, as spirits, were waiting to come to this wor...

Season 3 Podcast 16 The Principle of Opposition 24.01.2022

The Principle of Opposition  There is a principle that could even be stated as a law.  I call it the law of opposition.  Try to imagine a world without opposing forces.  On a stormy day, we want the wind to quit.  On a cold day we want the sun to come out.  On a hot day we want a breeze to blow or a cloud to cover the sun. We like a perfect environment where nothing distracts us—no flies, no mosqu...

Season 3 Podcast 15 The War in Heaven Pt II 21.01.2022

The War in Heaven Pt II   In this podcast we shall address the questions: 1.     Where was the battle fought? 2.     Why was the battle fought? 3.     How was the battle fought? 4.     How was the battle won? We are taught in the Book of Revelation: 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither wa...

Season 3 Podcast 14 The War in Heaven Part I 20.01.2022

The War in Heaven Pt I The poet John Milton in his epic story of the fall of man, describes the war in heaven. In the following brief stanza, he describes Lucifer being cast out of heaven. Th’ infernal Serpent; he it was whose guile,  Stirred up with envy and revenge, deceived  The mother of mankind, what time his pride  Had cast him out from Heaven, with all his host  Of rebel Angels, by whose ai...

Season 3 Podcast 13 Freedom and Nature 19.01.2022

Freedom and Nature It is ironic that science, by expanding our understanding of natural laws, actually increases our freedom, yet it is science that denies the existence of freewill.  It is part of their Flatland mentality.  Even a cursory study of nature shows how all life forms are designed for their maximum freedom.  Study the hawk and see how it spreads its confident wings in the azure sky and...

Season 3 Podcast 12 Patriotism 18.01.2022

Patriotism We wish you a happy new year and hope this new year brings you joy and happiness, and in your prayers, please include America. You know, the Holy Bible loves to talk about the promised land for the Jews, and I am happy for them. The Jews gave us the Bible. The Jews gave us Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible is true. It is the word of God, and it is the guide for liberty. The Holy Bible is the...

Season 3 Podcast 11 Lady Justice 17.01.2022

Lady Justice Lady Justice is of very ancient origin, dating back to the Egyptians.  She was originally associated with the gods and symbolized the justice of God. Though images vary, it is a universal symbol found throughout the world .    Lady Justice traditionally has three significant attributes: (1) She is blindfolded; (2) She has balanced scales, the most prominent image, held high in her rig...

Season 3 Podcast 10 A Few Notes on Faith and Prayer 14.01.2022

A Few Notes on Faith & Prayer   As Christians we know that we are not, as Bertrand Russel said, “an accidental collocation of atoms.” We are not created by accident, chance, coincidence, or serendipity of circumstances. We are children of God, having a divine nature. Before coming to earth we lived with our Father in heaven as his spirit children. He sent us to earth through our mortal parents...

Season 3 Podcast 9 Another Glory of the Stars 13.01.2022

Another Glory of the Stars  40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is rais...
