"The State-men(t)" is an excerpt from a Short-story I am writing.  It is an action/drama based in the Middle East.   The story culminates with a woman of mixed descent doing Operations for a special agency that has a rift with the States.  She has her own reasons why she's taking the gig.  But, most importantly there is one thing that is non-negotiable of her getting... THE GUY.  Someone owes her....
