A Leisurely Stroll Through Middle-Earth

Now that Frodo and Sam have separated from the company, we will open the Two Towers with what has now befallen what remains of the Fellowship. For those who have read the book or seen the film already....you know what is coming.

Not much is known of these mysterious and deadly being but what we can find....I present to you...

Season 2 is marching upon us friends, are you prepared for what is to come?

First a shoutout to my parents' 38th wedding anniversary! Only appropriate to then talk of the long life and love of Celeborn and Galadriel and how their history intertwined into the Lord of the Rings...

Now the time has come, the Fellowship has delayed this choice since Lorien. Inevitably they must decide, Mordor or Minas Tirith...

The Fellowship has now left the land of Lorien and proceeding on their southward journey but all is not as simple as it seems for the Anduin can be treacherous...

As all good things must come to an end, so must the Fellowship's time in the undying land of Lothlorien. But they shan't leave without counsel and gifts for their way.

Sorry everyone for my breathy voice this reading, still getting over a summer cold I think. However, I do hope you still enjoy this reading. The Fellowship has made it into Caras Galadhon but now must answer before the Lord and Lady of the Galadhrim.

The company has only just lost their faithful friend and counselor, Gandalf. But they have little time to mourn for they must get clear from the Gates of Moria before the orcs come out in force...only one place to go, the mysterious and mystical land of Lothlorien....in honor of my birthday we will delve into my favorite part of middle-earth.

Join Nathan and I as we pick up where the Fellowship left off but first let us discuss the implications of Tom Bombadil as we see he has been cast in Rings of Power season 2.

Our brave fellowship has reached the doors of Moria. Now can they find the doors? As we remember from the Hobbit, dwarf doors are invisible when closed....and their own masters cannot find them- if their secrets are forgotten.

In this chapter we surely see that Gandalf is no mere conjurer of cheap tricks! Now we shall see what becomes of the Fellowship as they begin their detour towards Khazad-Dum....which the elves call Moria....

Our brave fellowship is in a rather cold and wet situation....will they survive the Redhorn Pass or will Caradhras the Cruel live up to it's legendary reputation?

Now comes the selection of the company; unlike the movie it was actually several months before they had the fellowship selected. First they had to be certain the Black Riders were indeed gone for the time being. But now the company must delay no longer....can they make it or is their trail already dogged before they even begin?

We finally got our trailer for season 2 of the Rings of Power. Here I play the audio for the trailer and then proceed to speculate. Please leave your own speculations either here or on the post of the trailer on the instragram!

Now we come to decide, what to do with the One Ring? Hide it? Destroy it? Use it? Pawn it off on someone else to make our issues easier? Also Happy Mother's Day!

This is going to have A LOT of exposition so pay attention or perhaps enjoy this episode while you are sleepy if you do not care about such things. But in all honesty this is literally the longest chapter in the Fellowship of the Ring so do be prepared for a lot of exposition and characters being introduced or explained.

A fter Frodo 's harrowing escape from the Black Riders , he now finds himself recovering in the Halls of Rivendell after being tended to by none other than THE Elrond Half-Elven . This is a time of celebration and safety after a period of peril and uncertainty.

The Suspenful conclusion to the first volume of six for JRR Tolkien's the Lord of the Rings. Will Frodo and his companions make it to Rivendell unscathed? Will Aragorn continue to guide them? Will Samwise Gamgee turn out to be a wizard? Will Bill the Pony finally betray their trust? Find out in this episode of Leisurely Stroll Through Middle Earth.

As the night goes on....they will find that they are not as unnoticed as they would have liked to be. But later on in their journey a familiar sight will bring them courage and hope.

They discovered that Bree is perhaps not as safe as they anticipated, now they have met the mysterious Strider, alleged friend of Gandalf. Time will tell if he be true or false....

Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin have made it safely to Bree but trouble is not far on the horizon...
