A holistic approach to healthy living On Earth as it is in Heaven

The USA 2024 election has been a remarkable series of events, so I will continue to look into who the winners are, and what is being defeated.

In this rapidly changing world,  adapting the image in our mind to change, without judging is super important.  So what has changed that you haven’t adapted to yet?

For only the second time in history, a US president has won a second, non-consecutive term in office.  Where is God’s hand in all of this?

For some strange reason, it is always easier to see the speck in your neighbour’s eye than to realize what is preventing you from seeing the world more clearly.  How do we shine the light into their world anyway?

Just as the leaves swirl around in the wind, we can shift in and out of  being in alignment with God. 

Maybe you should consider borrowing other people’s kids.  It may keep you feeling young and be a blessing to others at the same time.

The political and technological cycle seem to be ready to converge once again.  It is our choice to make things better or worse, for myself and my society.

Walking in nature is one of the best ways to re-focus our mind’s priorities.  But, it is helpful to be able to do it anywhere, any time.

When it comes to our government, are we getting what we deserve?  Do we even inform ourselves enough to know what we’re getting? Are we making it bettter or worse?

Jesus called the people hippocrits who made judgment calls  based on the signs  of the times in the physical, but refused to make similar judgments in the spiritual.

The changing colours of the leaves signifies the passage of time.  Are we sad about that, or thankful and motivated?

It is important that we take time out to thank God and celebrate what He has done for us and with us: not just for God, but for our own brains to function well.

When we are in a dark place, we need the light of God’s truth about who we are to shine into our heart.  How do we facilitate that?

We were designed to be able to sense spiritual things as well as the physical world around us. Are people manipulating our emotions, or are they informing us of signals from other people and God?

God designed us with emotions.  Our emotions tell us where we’re at, while Holy Spirit tells us where we should be.  Only then, can we decide which way to go.

Are we making sure that we are taking our thoughts captive?  Someone else is controlling our thoughts, if we aren’t diligent in doing it for ourselves!

The price of burgers may have grown, but actually, it is just the value of our money that is shrinking. Do Christians need to be doing something about it?

What does it mean to be child-like?  Not childish, obviously. Emotional, possibly.  Are we doing what it takes to be good citizens of God’s Kingdom?

The answer you get will depend on who you ask, because often it depends on their preconceived ideas.  These ideas need to be examined from time to time.

In Old Testament times, child sacrifice was commonplace.  How are we sacrificing our future generation for the sake of immediate gratification?

There is a clear distinction to be made between being skeptical or cynical, Biblically socially and physiologically.

It is getting more and more difficult to determine which are lies and what is the truth.  But Christians have a big advantage in this area.  Let’s use it, for everyone’s advantage!

The government sets the tone for the nation: either for action, or inaction. However, we can be intentional about being the creative person we are meant to be.

Friends may challenge us on our stance about climate change.  How can reply respond to their assertions?

We all want to keep our nation on the right track.  How do we know when we’re veering off to far to the left or the right, politically?
