A Call to the Heart

As we step into a new year, remain faithful by gathering together as the Body of Christ—encouraging one another and stirring each other toward love and good works as the Lord’s return draws near. Don’t grow weary in meeting together; every gathering is supernatural, and your labor of love is not forgotten.

Now is not the time to look back, but to live by faith and move forward with God. Though the journey includes trials, He is faithful and will not forget the labor of love shown to His people. Keep your eyes on Jesus—what is hidden now will one day be revealed in glory.

Angels announce Heaven’s unexpected message to a fearful world: great joy, peace on earth, and goodwill toward humanity through the birth of a Savior. As shepherds receive the news in the fields and Joseph is reassured in a dream, angels announced the arrival of Jesus, that He might dwell with us and save His people.

Christmas is filled with joy, yet for many it’s also a season of grief and loneliness. As we celebrate “Joy to the World, the Lord has come,” we’re called to forgive, comfort, and serve as ministers of Christ—opening our hearts to others and learning to rejoice while we weep.

God’s new covenant frees us from the weight of our past, removing our sins as far as the east is from the west and filling us with the strength of His Spirit. In a world that doesn’t love Jesus, He’s given us the Church—a place to grow, gather, and encourage one another as we build a foundation of faith for future generations.

Serving Jesus in a world that resists Him is a difficult walk, but the reward of His presence, joy, and peace is greater than anything we suffer. Our lives may be full of trouble, yet He strengthens, comforts, and sustains us through it all. Remember the moment you first knew He was the Truth—and stand firm.

True worship isn’t just music—it’s presenting our whole lives to God in gratitude for His mercy. When we forget His goodness, we drift into busyness and self-reliance, but genuine worship is offering ourselves as living sacrifices, trusting the God who loves us and leads us into joy, peace, and a fruitful life.

The disciples obeyed Jesus only to find themselves battling contrary winds, wondering why everything seemed to be working against them. But even in the storm, Jesus saw them, came to them, and rescued them.

When the weight of life feels unbearable and everything around you seems to crumble, God remains steady. Just as Jeremiah cried, “You are my hope in the day of evil,” you can cling to the One who never falls apart. When you are weary and drowning in trouble, He is the strength that holds you together.

When life feels silent and God seems distant, faith is tested in the waiting. Even when His actions don’t make sense, His love remains constant and His plans surpass our expectations. Hold on, trust Him through confusion and pain—because if you don’t abandon Him, you will see His glory.

Worship restores what weariness steals. In His presence, striving ends, peace returns, and miracles begin to unfold. Rest isn’t found in stillness—it’s found in surrender before Him.

Worship is more than music — it’s a posture of the heart that longs for God Himself. Moses refused to go forward without God’s presence. He did not settle for blessings, miracles, and success. He longed for Him. Are we satisfied with just His blessings, or do we truly want Him?

The Resurrection changes everything—it gives purpose to our pain, meaning to our work, and eternal value to every act of faith. Because Jesus is alive, our lives are no longer lived for the temporary, but for the eternal. Every sacrifice, every service, and every act of devotion carries lasting significance in the Kingdom of God.

Through the resurrection of Jesus, a brand-new creation has come alive—a new man walking the earth, filled with the Spirit. This new man is the Church, the very Body of Christ, called to live as one with Him and with each other, revealing His love to the world.

Your sinful nature wasn’t overlooked—it was put to death with Christ and buried with Him. What rose from the grave was not the old life improved, but a brand-new creation in Him. Freed from guilt, the Law’s demands, and every record of sin, you now live hidden in Christ, joined to Him in a new covenant.

The old man is gone— sin’s power is broken. Sanctification is not about fixing the old life, but walking in the new life we’ve been given through Jesus Christ.

The mystery of the new creation was revealed in Jesus Christ, who rose in power, never to die again. At the cross, He defeated Satan’s power, paid the ransom for sin, and reclaimed all authority, bringing an end to the old order and the beginning of a new one. Through His victory, the curse is broken, and we are no longer under the rule of this world.

Revelation shows Jesus standing with John, declaring the sure promise of what is to come. Colossians 1:18 calls Him “the firstborn from the dead,” raised in a glorified body as the head of the church, the beginning. Through His cross and resurrection, we are invited to share in this new creation.

Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians reveal a stunning promise: the Lord will descend with a shout, the dead in Christ will rise, and believers will be caught up to meet Him in the air. But before the antichrist can be revealed, the Church must be removed.

Jesus warned of hearts growing cold, churches drifting into slumber, and of a day when many would work hard for a God that doesn’t know them. Believer, when was the last time you opened up the Word, spent time in His presence, and asked, “Does God know me?

The Lord is coming—stay alert, stay ready, and don’t let your heart grow cold. Like the midnight cry in Matthew 25, be the voice that declares the Groom is coming—get your oil and be prepared to meet Him!

In the last days, perilous times will come. The church will have a form of godliness while denying its true power: the life of Jesus, the Holy Ghost, and the grace of God. It’s not a lack of religion that marks the danger, but a lack of love and the power of God working within.

In these last days, Jesus warned of betrayal, deception, and hearts growing cold (Matthew 24). But now more than ever, we’re called to pursue fiery, fervent love—rooted in truth, guided by the Holy Spirit, and marked by grace (1 Peter 4:7). Let’s not lose our first love—this is how the world will know we are His.
