Today Pastor Jeff will talk about the word rejoice. The world rejoice means full of joy. Psalm 119:14-16 14 I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. 15 I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. 16 I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.

We are exploring Psalm 119 and today Pastor Jeff shares that as we learn more about God in the Bible, we praise Him. Psalm 119:7-8 7 I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws. 8 I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me.

This is our last week for our Kindness series and today Pastor Jeff is talking about loving our enemies. Matthew 5:44-45 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Pastor Jeff shares that when we treat others in the same way that we wish to be treated, we are doing the right thing. James 2:8 8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself,"[a] you are doing right.  

Today Pastor Jeff shares that the happiest people are those who love God and follow His rules. Matthew 5:6 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Today Pastor Jeff reminds us that Jesus instructed us to care for those who can't care for themselves, wherever they may be. Matthew 25:40 40 "The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'

Pastor Jeff shares about gossip today. When we gossip, we hurt others and we hurt ourselves. That is why the Bible tells us that Gossip is wrong. Proverbs 16:28 28 A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.
