In an alternate timeline, Tim Burton directed this 1994 starring vehicle for Chris Elliot, it went on to make millions, and it cemented Elliot as a true comedic voice of his generation. Instead it was directed by Adam Resnick, it tanked, and killed their careers a bit.

Dan and guest host Sam Carr talk about the fever dream movie that is "The Cat in the Hat" from 2003, directed by production designer Bo Welch and starring the super easy-to-work-with Mike Myers.

Spawning myriad sequels that apparently get way too deep into the lore, "Paranormal Activity" is today's title. One that Dan saw in the theaters (and nearly ruined a sketch comedy show) and one that Jer only saw for the first time a couple years ago.

Sometimes it's important to recognize a comedy's place in history...because that's all it has going for it anymore. "The Kentucky Fried Movie" is a 1977 John Landis-directed sketch movie that's aggressively horny and sometimes downright pornographic. Film at 11:00! And this month on Patreon, in honor of Mother's Day, we're celebrating with one of the worst mothers...

By no means a GREAT movie, "Ladybugs" is one of those titles from our childhood that we'll always kinda like. Starring Rodney Dangerfield and the late Jonathan Brandis, this 1992 movie gets at least a little respect from us!
