Jackie Craig, who ran for the Marana Town Council office and won a seat during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, has stepped down to pursue other interests. At her last Council meeting, Oct. 15, she was praised by Mayor Honea and other Council Members as being very professional, adding Jackie always came to the meetings prepared,

In early Septermber, Paul Marsh was laid to rest in Arizona’s Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana. Marsh was deeply involved in establishing the veterans cemetery. The cemetary broke ground in November 2014 and dedicated in March 2016.Paul once said that his death woud be the only thing that would stop him from the competion of a propter resiting place for his fellow veterans,
